Senior needs help with my work outs.

It’s marketed by Aqueous Outfitters.
Mine is a white T, with same graphics.
Kind of macho, but it makes a statement.

It’s like that philosophy about life being a journey from womb to grave, & we can arrive in perfect condition well preserved & looked after or slide in sideways a little worse for wear , saying “what a ride”!

Our weather returned to normal for September 17C in morning, expecting 24C for the high.
Morning walk was pleasant. First 2 km with Bella, then another 3 km solo.

Today’s walk was basically a repeat of yesterday. I don’t usually do 5km two days in a row but tomorrow is a trip to mom’s, which is 2hrs drive each way.

It was a long day as expected. Left home 7:30’ arrived in Brockville 9:30, spent morning with mom, we went out for a short walk and drive along St Lawrence River. We had picnic lunch down by waterfront. I headed home around 2 pm, arrived around 4 pm & was greeted by Bella who missed me so we went for a 1/2 hour walk.

Don’t you just love it when your body reminds you that you did something stupid or wrong?
We were at our grandsons birthday (14) on Thursday, stayed over since it was a late evening, stopped at Costco to stock up on salt for our water softener & headed home. At home we unloaded, & like a fool I carried the 20 kg bags of salt two-at-a-time down to the basement. We’ll this morning my lower back reminded me I am not 40 anymore. Feeling better after I got up and loosened up & took Bella for a walk.

I used to do things like that until my cardio reminded me of the strong possibility of my aorta bursting if I continued. He even mimed how not to lift anything. It is frustrating to realise that you have to be more careful as you get older, even without an aneurysm.

Feeling much better after another night sleep. Thank you. Sunday is our Off day. We enjoy a morning coffee & old fashion plain donut (put in toaster oven to crisp it up, just like it came out of the fryer) .
It’s not all bad though ((LOL)) There’s even 3 grams of protein in one. (Along with fat, sodium etc)

Spent the day visiting with mom. Great weather sunny 21C by the St Lawrence River. Did a cardio session on the stairclimber before dinner.

That sounds like a pleasant day, Mike & then good exercise when you got back home. That stairclimber has paid off :)

Another good walk today, in 2 parts.
3km with Bella, then another 3 at brisk pace. I managed to break 10 min/km on all 3 km of 2nd part!
