Senior needs help with my work outs.

We have had another week of high temperatures (25-30°C)& high humidity (felling like 32-38°C). Making it difficult to get outside for any length of time.
Rain is in forecast. Hope it will cool things down a bit

Went scuba diving last night, on a late 1800’s wooden schooner, in 80ft (25m) depth about an hour boat ride off shore in Lake Ontario. Actual dive time about 25 minutes, but recorded 57 min on Apple Watch after suiting up, getting in, surface time and exiting. Burned 260 cal on dive.Plus side weighed in 210 lbs today (5 more to target weight)

Heat & high humidity continues this week 31C with humidex at 39.
Today was road trip to see mom. Air conditioning working overtime. Hit the Treadclimber in the basement when I got home this evening.

Today is the 3rd anniversary of my Total Hip Replacement (left) surgery. I am pleased to report I am overall pleased with the outcome. Other than a little stiffness in the glute hamstrings in the morning I have no real lasting after effects. I can still walk 3-5km & scuba dive regularly. Overall successful!

The temperature broke a little last night. It was 16C this morning at 06:00. Nice sunrise & a good morning to take Bella for a nice relaxing walk.

Bella & I were out this morning for a casual walk, but too hot & humid again so we cut it short at 2 km. Hit the Treadclimber this afternoon for some cardio.

Busy week here. Had 4 large ashe trees taken down which regrettably have died due to Royal Ashe Bore infestation. The yesterday we (my wife & I) ground out the stumps, cleaned up the chips/mulch. Today we spread a cubic yard of top soil, raked & grass seeded.
Everything thing hurts , but it’s a good feeling tired. Weighed in & bonus I weigh 209 lbs. 4 pounds to go! Feeling good!

Shame about the sick/dead trees but that physically tired feeling after work you aren't used to is kind of nice. Almost at goal!

We've had to take down over 16 trees in the past 5 years. All ashe, due to Royal Ashe Bore.
Luckily our lot is well treed & we still have ample shade trees.

Had another early evening dive last night (Navy Bay , Kingston) on a steam dredge that sank in late 1800s, followed by a nice morning walk today with Bella.

The structure is still very much intact, thanks to the cold temperatures (45F all year round) at depth (110 ft) We have a grass roots preservation which started in the 1980s that placed concrete block anchors next to the wrecks with mooring lines for dive boats to tie onto. Prior to that many dive sites were destroyed by boat anchors being dragged over them. The photo I uploaded is the dive guide, and is an accurate sketch of the wreck today. It is about 30 meters long & 8 wide. There are two levels & you can swim through the lower level.

This morning’s walk with Bella was very pleasant, temperature dropped to 17C and sun was still below tree tops at 7 am when we headed out

Always good when conservation efforts start before things are all broken apart. I would LOVE to have your weather!
