woohoo congrats on 8 days!!!

if you're interested, there's a site i used to help me quit smoking (and please tell me if i've told you this before. . . .sorry!) called quitnet.com. it's filled with so many positive people sharing their quitting experiences - just a free forum like this one. (ps. am i allowed to do this? i know you're not supposed to post other websites. . . . .but this is just a free forum for people trying to quit smoking. . . .is that ok? who knows. . . .)

regardless, the forum offers a ticker that tells you the following stats:
exact time that you've been quit
money you have saved
cigarettes you HAVEN'T smoked
time added on to your life

check this out - and i NEVER thought i could come this far. . . .

Hey newbride the motivation is deff there for me at the moment and you too buy the looks of it, did you no it is contagious and I bet we can give it to everyone here.....:D :D :D

Oh newbride I would love to make a ticker for the no smoking but im trying not to think about it lol. My 9th and 10th day have gone really well but im turning into a reformed smoker and that’s the part I don’t like. I can smell a cigarette from a mile away. My son came in and gave me a kiss good morning and it nearly made me sick… I gave him a pkt of mints.

New leaf im sure you’re more excited about me giving up then I am lol.

Sheidi I don’t know about the losing weight bit atm lol but I will be kicking butt soon. Thank you so much for the encouragement hun.

N.B I was in one of the first challenges and I got sick didn’t post ect and upset people I think so I haven’t been in a challenge since then but I have been feeling good so I thought I should be good for this one. This is going to be the year for us hun I can feel it.

I got it in the post yesterday Omg what a wonderful looking family, thank you so very much for that I will treasure it forever.

Well we took the kids to dream world today because our passes run out on the 2nd. We had a really good time, it was so hot though.

It’s our new years eve tomorrow, we are taking the kids to a disco from 1 till 5 then we are going to come home and have a bbq. They are having fireworks on the beach at 7, 10 and 12. I think we will stay for the 7 and 10 then come home.

All of my kids are going camping with my brother in law on New Year’s Day and they are going for a week. They are looking forward to it. Well girls that’s about it for today so I will catch up with you tomorrow and let you no how it all goes.
 
Wow, you're doing really great on the no smoking thing! I know what you mean about smelling it a mile away. I smoked 7+ years ago, and I'm STILL the same way! Can you imagine? We used to smell like that - BLECH! :p

Oh no barb my sense of smell is killing me lol, im at my hubby all the time now can you smell that? He rolls his eyes yes hun I can smell that. It’s amazing what you can smell when you don’t smoke.

And newleaf you are doing a wonderful job and I appreciate it, you have been a wonderful help lol you just make me laugh with your enthusiasm, thanks mate.
