ok, Rhonda! Congrats on the big time weight loss! Also, checking in on you with your smoking thing! How's it going? Haven't heard from you lately so I just wanted to check in!

April have a look at the post before the last one hun it’s all there, im doing fine though I haven’t killed anyone yet lol though im sure my hubby will tell you im a bitch:cool: . He kindly offered to sacrifice himself while I was going through withdrawals:mad: and let me yell and scream at him. Poor bugger I bet he wishes he didn’t do that because I did get pretty cranky for a couple of days:eek: . I think im better now … well he says that I am but I don’t know if that’s because he just doesn’t want me to yell at him;) . Ok I have to go I will be back later to finish this though have a good day girls.:D
 
just wanted to say congratulations on the weight loss and BIG HUGE CONGRATS on the smoking!!!! i just quit in august, so i absolutely feel your pain when it comes to that. it's probably the hardest thing i ever did in my life, and i didn't even smoke for that long. . . .about three and a half years! i was bitchy as all hell, and don't even get me started on the food eating. that's why i have to work really hard now to try and lose the extra weight!

be a little bit gentle on yourself with the food thing since you've quit smoking. . . . .it was really really really hard on me when i first quit. it's quite a daunting task to take on both, and i'm super impressed with your effort!!!

also glad to hear that your husband is so patient while you're having cravings. :) that's always VERY VERY helpful.
 
Lucky you!! I think I speak for everyone when I say, Does your husband have a brother???? Every time I've tried to quit, when I get bitchy my husband throws a cigarette to me and says Just smoke this and shut up!! So supportive huh? Of course I'm expected to be 100% supportive of anything he decides to do. Like spending 100's of $ every month on fishing tournaments and tackle! So that someday he can become a famous professional angler! Well, I do support his dream, but damn I get in trouble if I spend $20 on myself!

april i'm so sorry to hear about your husband's reaction to you quitting!!! it's SUCH a hard thing to do. does he smoke? if not, he'll NEVER understand how hard it is to accomplish. ugh. my DB (dear boyfriend) had MOMENTS where he told me that i was just using the qutting thing as an 'excuse' but for 99% of the time, he was totally supportive and understanding, and i apologized for my behavior in my moments of lucidity. thank god for his patience, because without it i would still be smoking!!!!

Lol April yes he dose but let me tell you they broke the mold when they made brad… his brother is wonderful but I wouldn’t like him as a hubby. My sisters hubby is like that , he nags my sister to give up but doesn’t like the consequences… its just for a few days you would think they could get over it. But hey maybe im just spoilt. Tell ya man if you cant spend $20 on ya self a week then he cant spend any money on himself and if he cracks it over that hun get a job get a life and let him do what he wants he will soon see he should have given you that 20 bucks.

Well. Girls its Christmas Eve here and I have been cooking all day (and loving every minute of it) I just have one or 2 things to do and im finished. Im off for a swim I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas, I will try to drop in tomorrow if not in a day or so….be good if not be careful, love yas.
 
Heather the first 2 days after giving up smoking were a killer with the food, all I did was eat and let me tell you its showing on the scales now so its time to move my butt and get it GONE.

Well yesterday was wonderful, everyone loved there gifts and touch wood I don’t think I have to take anything back. I jumped on my home scales this morning girls and im a bit worried about what I see so its time to get over the Christmas cheer and get serious about my goals for this coming year. I go back to ww on the 9th so I would like to have either lost weight or at least maintained. I would hate to go back and weigh more than when I left. So for the next two weeks its lots of exercise and water for me. Today its cleanup day, pull down the decorations and pack the new toys away. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and could enjoy it as much as we did.

Ok fresh food diary ………………………………….26/12/2005
Time 8.15 am

Breakfast

1 small bowl of cornflakes
½ cup skim milk
½ teaspoon sugar
1 coffee with skim milk, no sugar.
1 ltr water.
 
We also did a big clean up,I scrubbed the oven out even!Mike shampooed the carpets/rugs and re arranged the rooms around!We were busy bees.
I had a wopping headache(hangover),had a few on xmas day!Not that many thou,dont drink that much,so I am what you would call a cheap drunk!
A six pack of bourbon/colas is enough for me,I usually dont even drink that much.
It was great to see all the relatives!I am going to get one of those fat/water/weight percentage scales!They will really help to keep me on track!:D

There’s nothing nicer than giving the place a new look after Christmas, because no matter how much you like the decorations ect it looks grubby after a week and to pull it down is the best feeling lol bar humbug;) .
I usually love a drink but over the last couple of months I have been drinking less and less and I found out the day before Christmas I don’t like coke anymore :eek: my hubby and I went into panic mode and went and picked up 10 different colas and diet soft drinks so I could have a Bacardi Christmas day lol.
All good intensions yesterday went out the window and I ate lollies, dip biscuits, cold meats ect:eek: …but once I had a think about it I new why…ttom is on its way so now im aware I should be able to get a handle on it all again.

I'm so proud of you for quitting smoking!! you are really working hard to change and I couldnt' be more proud!! ((hugs))

Way to go on quitting! And glad to hear you're back on the wagon after the holiday now! :) I am sure you 'll do fine on your weigh in come the 9th!
 
Hey, Rhonda! Glad you had a good holiday! I usually don't take down my Xmas stuff until after the 1st but since there really isn't any holiday cheer going on around here, I'm putting everything away today. It's just a reminder of how unhappy this house really is. Maybe I could borrow some of your husbands DNA?? I could have a clone made. This man is unbelievable. Because I spent $225 on Xmas(that includes tree,gas,and gifts for 13 people) he got mad and I don't know what he did with his paycheck he picked on on the 23rd. He only spent $25 on me and I gave him the money for that.(gave him $50) He didn't deposit anything and he didn't pay any bills and he only has like $30 left. I don't care. I work hard every day. I'd like to see him deal with a bus load of kids 4 times a day. Just because I don't make as much as he does he says that He decides. My paycheck goes straight to the bank. His goes in minus his "pocket money" which is usually at least $100. Then after I pay the bills he's mad cause there's no money in the bank. Duh! Now, he hasn't worked in over a week so this Friday he won't have a paycheck and I will. He's not getting a dime from me. As soon as he goes back to work, I'm selling the motorcycle. I bought it myself for him but the title is still in my name!!
 
i think i was MIA over xmas too, but it gets crazy with kids. hope you had a merry one!
 
April im fighting with myself here hun I don’t know whether to tell you what I think you want to hear or tell you what I really want to say … ok what I want to say,
I think you are a wonderfully strong woman and a bloody good mum but I also think to need the biggest kick in the backside. I don’t know enough about your life to make to many judgments or comments but I think you really need to sit back and take stock of your life and what’s going on. Do you really want to live like this? It all comes down to it’s YOUR choice mate.
 
Hey new bride im glad everyone’s coming back, I missed you guys as well. 8 days hun and counting since I have had a smoke, im telling you girls this will be the year for us im sure of it.

Thanks new leaf from today im going to work my butt off my new year has started.

Its good to see you back wonder woman I hope you had an absolutely wonderful Christmas.

Hey sweetie! Congrats on the smoking thing! That is awesome! I have not been able to go to the dr. yet.. they have been closed for day's now and do not open up until tomorrow morning.. I promise.. I'm going!! I tried for two day's to get on here and check on everyone and it wouldn't let me for some reason! I didn't know if it was the site or my pc.. anyway.. I hope you had a wonderful xmas..
