A little hurt is probably the best possible outcome in a case like this. Well done stomping the frustration out!

Who knows what she wanted to gain - maybe attention or feeling desired by multiple men. Self-seeking behavior for sure, and whatever it was, you truly deserve better! Just keep your heart open, and when the time is right, that woman with an equally open heart will come into your life and you will be so grateful you didn't settle for this nonsense.

Way to kick butt on the steps!! ;)

:iagree: with all of the above. Keeping your distance is an excellent idea, as was stomping out your hurt & frustration. Well done Stan :)

Just a quick update because I'm sitting on the sofa in the middle of the afternoon doing nothing else lol. Good walk this morning keeping the steps count up and calories are within limits. Not a lot to report really, but I do need to get my christmas shopping done, this seems to be preoccupying my mind at the moment haha! Feet are a little sore and the manflu is almost gone, other than that all is good :)

Also... a quick snap of a section from my walk this morning. There's a lot of people from all over the World on here; I often wonder what they see while they're out and about doing whatever exercise they are. Well, this is a bit from mine :)

Bit damp lol. But once you're out of the towns and cities, there's so much of England that looks like this

Beautiful! I like this idea. I see very similar, just all covered in white right now!
I see why you get all those steps in with scenery like that!

I was talking with a woman on Wednesday about English lanes as she's just back from a drive around England & Ireland, with her husband & her 2 sisters. I asked her if the roads/lanes are as narrow as they look on TV & she told me some hair-raising stories. I'll put a photo in my diary of my next walk too. That looks very pretty Stan.

Just a quick entry for today; 15k of steps and I planned ahead for a party for my niece's birthday this evening, just had a banana for breakfast and a banana for lunch knowing big calories were coming lol

If you don´t get overly hungry/cravy from undereating during the day and then overeat when food is set in front of you preparing for a high-calorie evening with a low-calorie day can be very helpful.

I hope you had a good evening at your niece's birthday!
Happy Monday, and have an excellent week! I'll take a photo of my walk home for you. I think this should be a new trend. ;)

I see you are still killing it on steps! :D Good for you, Stan!!!

Love the idea of posting a pic of the walk. I may copy . ;)

Hope you are having a great day!

Definitely ladies, I would love to see some pics from out and about near you. It should have its own sub forum probably lol :) I will find some other pics to post at some point, but all my walks are in the dark until the weekend haha.

Monday's been good. I do part time at uni so go there on a Monday; upside is I get plenty of steps in from the car park and around campus, downside is that I have to get up early on a Monday. Well, early for me anyway. Before 7am! We also tend to treat ourselves and head to the pub for a meal at lunchtime; this does have an impact on my calories but if I'm careful I can keep in my limits still :)

Managed a 10k walk afterwards too; steps been healthy for a while now; I've been so lucky with the weather lol

I didn´t take a picture because my phone doesn´t do great at night but I googled one of where I was on Sunday: the military history museum in Vienna.

Haha sadly not Jenni it's an undergraduate degree in building surveying I've been doing one day a week, I'm now in year 5 of 6. Heck of a long slog but work are paying for it, they also say they'll probably pay for my postgraduate degree afterwards. That'll be enough for me then tho lol. I messed around a lot at school when I was younger and got kicked out at 16. Been paying for that ever since really, until recently anyway. I'm lucky work are funding it but I had to work incredibly hard to make it happen, so kind of my reward.

LaMa you could probably fill a whole blog with amazing photos of Vienna. I only spent a day there and just walked around in total amazement at the architectural opulence of the whole city. I was going to try and list a few but it'd be wrong to miss any out lol. The national library with the statue of atlas and the golden celestial sphere was just one that caught my eye though. Didn't venture far enough out from the old town to see the military history museum; I guess I'll have to revisit

Bit over 16,000 steps today and calories had to be bumped up with a banana to get my count up over 1200. I might treat myself tomorrow a little as a reward for that :)

Great job persevering with the degree! That's an awesome story with an inspiring message - love it. :beating:
We are clearing the lot for the new house in about a week!

Some great pics stan, i will post some pics for you soon :)
