Rebel's Diary

Today was ok till a friend wanted to go out to dinner. Blew my carbs but i really really wanted those french fries. Try to keep carbs below 20 and now in the neighborhood of 100 :(

Breakfast-16 ounces egg whites, 3 whole eggs, 4 slices turkey bacon. (630 calories)

Lunch- flat wrap with peanut butter and banana. (455 calories)

Dinner- fried pickles, flat iron steak,steak fries, creamed spinach. (1326 calories)

BMR= 2968
Cals= 2411
Total -557

Shit happens. I hope you still had fun :) Declining dinner invitations is not a long-term strategy but you´ll have to decide for yourself how often you get to go over your carb budget. The good news is: you were still under maintenance for the day.

Naaa it was fine. Im not on a "diet" so it was fine. I havent had anything fried or any potatoes in a month and it sounded really good.
I could have just had a salad as a healthier option but it simply wasnt what i wanted.
The fact that i skipped the cheesecake shake was something all in itself. ;)

I bought a water filter a few days ago. I found now i dont mind drinking water. I've been drinking about a liter a day. Well thats not counting the tea and coffee. So i guess its another positive change. So many bad habits im trying to change.

Been looking through some vegan and vegetarian recipes to get some food ideas. My family is never going to understand.

Yes of course im going to add meat ;)

It´s funny but that´s how I often find decent new ways to prepare veggies. Many "regular" recipes focus on what to do with the meat/fish and just throw in some raw veggies for decoration.

Going through some drama again. Certain members in my family are upset that i dont eat the same food they do. They are carb junkies and said not to worry about my weight. They say i should go back to eating the foods they do. They dont like the fact there is different food on my plate than they have.
Im going out to the property tomorrow. My neighbor is ready to move his sheep to my pasture. I dont have to be there because they have the keys to the main gate but it's away from here so it will help.
Im running away from home :(

I don't blame you for running away from home. Your family should be really happy that you have decided to become healthier. They have the problem Rebel, not you xo

Seriously?! That´s... worrying. I guess your changes remind them of the fact they aren´t doing their own bodies any favors. And as long as you weigh more than them they can deny their own problems. So I understand where the reaction might come from, but it´s not a pleasant possibility. Well done for sticking up for your health, Rebel!

Well things were already tense between us. It's just more fuel for the fire i suppose. Anyways i think its just a good idea to run away for awhile ;)

I weighed this morning b4 leaving home. The evil jeanie in the scale said 446. So i dropped 7 more pounds. So I've lost 54 pounds so far.
My neighbor gave me some lamb to take home. Some ground and some chops so free meat is always good. Never had lamb b4 so im sure youtube can walk me through cooking it.

Well done on that 7lb loss Rebel. Re: lamb.....think garlic, rosemary, a little mint(all preferably fresh) & slow cooking....I love lamb!

Back home ... 4 hour drive each way kinda hard on the bummm.
Everything went well; the sheepies are in their new home. Had to fidgit with the generator abit to get the well pump working. I hate playing electrician.
The sheep behaved themselves on the 1/2 mile drive from his property to mine. Well all except 2 knotheads that just didnt want to cooperate.
Horrible food day. Been running on coffee all day. Skipped breakfast because i couldn't wait to get out of the house. Lunch just didnt bother. My first meal of the day 8pm(ish) today is going to look alot like a fast day :(

I love lamb. All of it. Gorgeous stuff! Maybe next time when you know you´ll be going for a 4 hour drive each way either prep something to bring alon the night before or plan out where you can stop for a halfway decent meal. O, and while you´re stopping for that meal, do a couple of exercises/go for a walk. You can do it hon!

You can do it hon!
