I often have a little yoghurt with my fruit, to reduce the "sugar" spike.
Hummus is scrumptious. G makes a very yummy one. I had better stop thinking about it right now as I'm doing a semi- fast today (5:2). Cheers!
Thanks ill check it out. I looked up how to make hummus and its really simple. Ill have to get the things together and start experimenting with flavors.
 
Breakfast- hamburger steak, babybel cheese. (682 calories)

Lunch- Portobello mushroom caps topped with red pepper hummus, 1 avocado. (472 calories)

Dinner- broiled 16 ounce catfish fillet/big ole fishy\ (491 calories)

BMR= 2968
Cals= 1645
Total -1323
 
Today has gone pretty well. I ended up with 24 net carbs so not too bad. I had alot of meat today so I'll try to get some veggies in tomorrow.
 
Is this the catfish you caught yourself? I like that you catch things to eat them, I don't understanding hunting for fun but if you're gonna use the animal for food it's all groovy. I've never seen a catfish before. Are they easy to catch?

I dont hunt or fish for fun. I process anything i kill for food. Catfish is a clean tasting white fish. They are really easy to catch. They are bottom feeders so u can use just about any bait...worms, shrimp,bacon, livers just anything at all.
Yes its one of the ones i caught.
Im soo ready to go fishing again.

No they really dont. They taste much like cod but the meat is more tender and more flaky in texture.
The only time they taste muddy is when they get very large. Once the reach 20 pounds or bigger the meat will darken near the belly. You just cut the greyish tinted meat away and it's fine. If you have ever bought salmon and under the skin is darker and kinda greyish; same thing.
 
Been an off day so i had no desire to do any real cooking. Maybe tomorrow:(

Dinner-16 ounces egg whites, 3 whole eggs, 4 slices turkey bacon. (570 calories)

Snack- zucchini and onion quinoa. (180 calories)

BMR= 2968
Cals= 750

A catfish is also someone playing the dating game while pretending to be someone they're not. Do not recommend eating, no matter what their bellies look like.

:D I wouldn´t eat either :p Food sounds a lot better!
