It was lovely, thank you! Here's some piccies :D Quiet day on training today.. was lead by a "famous" social worker so I was a bit star struck and excited. She taught us a lot of theory and I'm really keen to get cracking with some more uni work now. Calories on track for today - will be back logging on here every day for a while to keep accountable. Weight still the same, need to get past the plateau! Back later to post calories.
Nice pics. Look at you being all happy and healthy :)

They're gorgeous pics. Hana. You & your gran look just lovely. I felt like hugging you both! Is she your Mum's Mum?

did that crow really have such blue eyes? I´ve never seen that on a bird!

He did! They were such a bright, pale blue. So gorgeous. I wonder if he wasn't a crow and was some other sort of bird.. I'd never seen it before either.

Cate, she's my Dad's mum. She's so sassy and lovely, she travels all around the world still and has more energy than me! Truly a marvellous woman!

FINALLY down another lb this morning. I'll wait til Sunday to weigh in properly as normal but I am so pleased I've broken through!

19th June:

Breakfast: peach (51)
Lunch: sandwich, carrots (348)
Dinner: couscous, halloumi salad with peppers, onion, mushrooms, green beans and chilli (494)
Snacks: big glass of wine, slice of toast (487)

Total: 1380
Steps: 10,000

We finally told our landlord yesterday about our intention to move.. he was much nicer than expected which is always a good surprise. He can be a bit funny.. We are still in SAVE SAVE SAVE mode.. I've been selling a few bits and pieces and we are ticking on by but it's been a bit of a challenge! All part and parcel of buying a house, I guess!

Probably a simple mutation (same as Neandertals and some huskies) but it looks stunning. Yay for being active in retirement and for reasonable landlords.

Thank you Delsid!

Yesterday was a good day - I snuck home from work early (it should be illegal to work in this heat with no air-con) and had a cold shower and then relaxed with Twin Peaks all evening. Long day at work today but last supervision with the chap I don't really like..can't believe I'll be back at normal job on Monday. At a friends for dinner tonight but will have normal portions and not taking desert or wine. Calories good yesterday. That 1lb is still off!!

Monday 20th June
Breakfast: two slices of toast
Lunch: chicken stock with veggies (182)
Dinner: cous cous with ALL the veggies and halloumi (619)
Snacks: half a kitkat, the last of my wine from the weekend! (315)

Total: 1389
Steps: 10,500

Just got back from dinner at a friends - was lovely sitting in the garden and catching up. Quick food post!

21st June
Breakfast: carrots, it was what I fancied!
Lunch: veggie curry
Dinner: fajita cups with mexican rice (925)
Snacks: wine with dinner (261)

Total: 1491
Steps: 12,000

:) Yay for craving carrots! Some people don´t believe me when I say I just have to eat some veggies right now.

Thank you Jess!

LaMa and Cate - I'm glad I'm not alone. I think carrots are so sweet.. I always eat the outside of one and keep the little super sweet inside bit for last. It drives Yank mad. Yum Yum.

------

I'm down 2lbs this week! At 171lbs now.. the 60's are in sight!

Jan (starting weight 199 lbs): -10lbs
February: -5lbs
March: -5lbs
April:
-2lbs
May: -4lbs

June: -2lbs so far

Total: 28lbs down
Current weight: 171lbs @ 5'10

Have done my little weigh in for the week. Didn't realise May's losses had been so good - really happy with a pound a week. I'm at 171lbs now - next little goal is to be in the 160's!

Busy day yesterday - went to the soup kitchen and we had lots of heroin users shooting up outside. Was a bit scary but managed to get them to move away from the building. We get a lot of bother from the police and the public and don't want to be shut down. We got delicious cup-cakes donated from a local bakery so took some home and me and Yank had them after dinner. Gorgeous and worth every calorie! Calories for yesterday came in at 1750 which is too high for losses but will suit just fine for maintenance with all the exercise I did :)

Thank you for being such a useful member of society :) At a guess I'd say your maintenance calories would be over 2000 (considering 2000 is average for women and you're tall and young). Now that you struck so many alcohol calories (alcalories?) from the menu you can probably eat quite a bit more than before without gaining, right?

A bit late to the convo but yay for a fellow carrot lover (I sooo do the core bit too!! Hahah)

And great stuff on the soup kitchen and the loses :)

Thank you, loveliest of ladies. I do my bit <3

I was beastly last night. I finished my work placement yesterday and they gave me a bottle of fizz and some vouchers which was lovely. So I got home and drank the entire thing like old Hana would have done and then ate two packets of crisps, dinner and all of the cheese. ALL OF THE CHEESE. I've been at Uni all day today which was dull as dishwater and me and Yank just got back from seeing our new house again. Feeling very excited. Having dinner now and watching Twin Peak in my pants. Hoping to get up at 3:30am to go and see the sunrise over the beach - will see what weather is like. Calories for yesterday were around 2200 but I walked 15,000 steps. LaMa - you're right, of course, but I see anything over 1700 as a bit of a fail day.. although I know different.

I can understand that - we´re in diet mode for so much of our lives :( BUT you´re about to come out of it so you´d better start practicing (possibly without drinking all the fizziness and eating all the cheesiness) and having fun with it :)
