I would like Labour in everywhere! I'm a leftie, through & through. Hope the exam went well hon xoxo

Thank you lovely Kate! I am feeling like giant whale today so have come back to read my comments and have my ego stroked!!

Well, I've been a busy bee!

Wednesday:
Law exam - went really well, feel quite confident I've passed!

Thursday: 17 hour shift working the election. BUT, tories didn't keep their majority, woo! BUT, tories now working with DUP...which means we are doomed anyway.

Friday: 4 hours sleep and off to work. Aced my initial assessments and got some uni work done. Heard from solicitors and valuation has been done on house and has come back fine.. have now paid £700 to solicitors to start their work.. the fun begins!

Saturday: Slept for 12 hours and watched twin peaks most of the day with Yank. Went out for a drink at a local pub.

Today: The Judge (our squishy cat) has a sore eye so went to vets for meds and have spent rest of day on sofa like large potato.

Food has not been fab..not horrendous but not great either. I'm looking forward to a full week back at work to get into my routine. I've meal-prepped for the weak so have plenty of healthy stuffs.

A very productive week. What a disaster for the Tories! It was very intriguing viewing.

Ha, 'large potato'. Have a good week back at work.

I've meal-prepped for the weak
Ha ha. I know you meant week but that did make me laugh. We all should meal prep for the weak/week :D
Although I'm not intimating that you are weak, by any means. You are strong ( & lovely.)
Great news on the house Hana. Even though it's all a little bit nerve-wracking, it's also quite exciting & such a positive step. Lots of love xoxo Cate.

ahaha, Cate, I hadn't seen that! It's just soup so it truly is meal prep for the weak..not a carb in sight!

My little cat, The Judge, has a bad eye..have got him some eye drops (ever tried to put eye drops in a cats eye on your own?! JESUS H CHRIST) and it's still quite gammy..might be off to vets tomorrow if no better. We over-fed him over the weekend in sympathy and have been rewarded with 3 shits all over our living room rug this morning...will to live already lost and it's 7:55am on a Monday!

11th June

Breakfast: toast, two satsumas (264)
Lunch: hot dog (364)
Dinner: halloumi with cous cous, quinoa and pearl barley with a ton of veggies (558)
Snacks: doughnut (152)

Total: 1338

Must dash to work!

Oh man. I have a cat that is the sweetest, friendliest and most docile little thing. As soon as I need to get her into the carrier she expands and turns into some kind of demon with 10 legs and crazy talons everywhere... same with giving her any kind of meds. Just no. Can't even imagine trying to put drops in her eye, I value my arms/life too much!

I hope your day improved!

Hey butterfly - a satsuma is a small, easy-peel orange type thing :) They are delicious.

Allthefoods - thank you love, I'm glad the anguish of being a cat owner is not limited to just me! I'm very scratched but his eye is better now!

Been a mixed ol' bag of a week.. Feels very good to be back at work and had a great few days..I'm going back to my normal role a week on Monday and have now been told the woman who has been looking after my cases will be keeping them so not entirely sure what my role will be when I get back.. I'm only going back for 6 months and then will be on my final placement and then into a qualified role so just going to roll with the punches and be as cheerful as I can about it.

We had some FABULOUS news on Tuesday that our mortgage offer has been APPROVED! Which means we are alllll gooood for the move (barring anything terrible happening and it falling through). So I'm chuffed. Will start packing things up in the next few weeks so I'm super prepared.

Had a good day yesterday, I stayed at my friends near Brighton on Tuesday night and then we did a two hour horse riding hack along the South Downs yesterday. Felt amazing, I miss riding so much. Can barely walk this morning (my poor muscles!) so have been horribly indulgent and have called in sick to work. I haven't had a sick day in years and I feel cross with my employer and a bit sore and achey so I'm having a luxurious day of shitty television, nail-painting and meal-prepping. And I won't feel in the slightest bit guilty!

14th June

Lunch: macaroni cheese, olives and bread (980)
Dinner: small pizza, baked potato, corn and green beans (796)

Total: 1776
Steps: 16,000 + 2 hours horse riding

Are you a bit cross because you're not getting your cases back? Horse riding sounds lovely. Hope you had a lovely sick day!! :D

Yeah, Emily.. just think there have been no "endings" for the young people which is really important in social work. Whole thing has been a bit underhand and sly I think. Anyhoo, we shall see what happens when I'm back I guess!

Right, food for yesterday was too high.. I have my Grama here all weekend so we are going over to the Isle of Wight and I imagine there will be some bad food! Still at 12st 5lbs at the moment so I'm maintaining but not losing anything.. we'll see how the weekend goes.

15th June

Lunch: pasta with veggies (478)
Dinner: brown rice mixed with pearl barley, vegetable curry with indian bread (909)
Snacks: 2 glasses of wine (261)

Total: 1648
Steps: 10,000

It was lovely, thank you! Here's some piccies :D Quiet day on training today.. was lead by a "famous" social worker so I was a bit star struck and excited. She taught us a lot of theory and I'm really keen to get cracking with some more uni work now. Calories on track for today - will be back logging on here every day for a while to keep accountable. Weight still the same, need to get past the plateau! Back later to post calories.

Your gran looks amazing! You too, of course, but we´re used to that ;) Also: you´ve got her eyes. Speaking of: did that crow really have such blue eyes? I´ve never seen that on a bird!

I love your sundress. Your grandma looks like a badass!
