Well done again!

Hi honey buns. I love your diary! I just caught up with it. You're a very special & good person Han xoxo

Looking good.
Your chips were they chips or what i would call french fries?

I really need to take an across the pond 101 class ;)

Hello gorgeous people :D CATE! So glad you're back. Will rootle out your diary for holiday updates!

M2M - yes, my lovely mum took me shopping and got me a few outfits so I have some stuff that fits me now which is great!

Rebel - chips here are french fries but we have more like steak-cut chips so they are chunky and better for you. So you just cut up a potato into big wedges and then bake with spices/salt/whatever and they come out like gorgeous chips :D Your chips are our crisps. We only get french fries at McDonalds really!

Right, quick update before work. Tuesday I had a friend over for dinner, shared a bottle of wine (in the old days it would have been two to three at least!) and I made a healthy dinner and no desert. Calories still around 1800 because of the wine. Last night I went to see Snatched at the pictures which was a terrible, terrible film. I had some popcorn which meant I was too full for a proper dinner but calories still around 1900 (600 calories in the popcorn!!!!). BUT, yesterday was another alcohol free day so I've had two this week already! Plan for tonight is no alcohol also as I know I'll be drinking this weekend. Supposed to be volunteering tonight but I'm exhausted and haven't seen my old lady for a week so really need to get round to the nursing home tonight so the soup kitchen will have to do without me. There will be more volunteers now the weather is better so sure they will be fine. Catch ya later folks1

It was gorgeous :) We went to Great Barton xx

Thank you for my tiny potato, Olz. I quite love him.

Right, back from my weekend away. We got back Sunday night and realised that we have a grand total of £2 to last us until Wednesday...needless to say food choices have been slightly odd and very carby! Still kept my 1lb off over the weekend. Everyone else had a big ol' BBQ with home-made potato salad, crisps etc. To Yank's dismay I made us wholemeal toasted bagels with grilled red pepper (done on the BBQ) with brie and thinly sliced chorizo. Was delish and much better for us that the 2000 calories of BBQ everyone else had ;) Was lovely to see my friend, A, too. He has very bad depression and moved home a few years ago. Love going to see him.

I'm off work til my law exam next Wednesday now so lots of time at home which will be either great for the diet or very, very bad. Back to revision now..

29th May

Breakfast: peanut butter roll (268)
Lunch: pasta with peas and asparagus (239)
Dinner: beans on toast, chicken sausage (789)

Total: 1296

Those bagels sound delicious! Not having any money to spend - even on food - sucks so much and I hope this is the last time you have to deal with it. Good luck studying :grouphug:

Enjoy having a bit of home time (even if you will be studying). I recommend short, brisk walks to give yourself a break from time to time. :)

I agree with Emily, short, brisk walks would be a good break!
Nicely done on the steady weight loss!!
