Worked out for 30 minutes on the aero-bicycle with 20 minutes at 160 target heartrate... Wierdly - though Im not sure if it's because of the machine's error or if it was simply true, the machine said I burned over 520 calories during the session. Worked on upper body including the free weights.... And now Im getting into the routine of working out on the abs through laid-back bicycle cycling crunches....


Dinner - I was particularly proud of myself for this one...
1 Sub with Turkey and Ham with Mustard
Salad with Italian dressing, bacon bits, and bread crumbs
a mouth-full of pasta (but that was all - never fininshed it)
1 1/2 glass of minute maid - kiwi strawberry
 
Breakfast/Lunch (woke up at 1 pm today)

Partial Salad with Italian Dressing, bacon bits, and bread crumbs.
1 bowl of Whole grain cereal with skim milk
quarter plate of fruits (grapefruit, peaches, etc)
some bites of ravioli (for the protein)
1 glass of skim milk
 
Dinner
Partial salad with bread crumbs, bacon bits, and black olives with italian dressing
Ham sandwich with tomato, lettuce, and mustard
Two pieces of meatloaf
1 helping of rice with stir-fry vegatables
1 glass of skim milk
2 bars of mini-ice cream sandwiches (12.5 fl oz each)
 
Breakfast/Lunch (woke up at 1 pm today)
Whole grain cereal with skim milk
Fruits - peaches, etc.
1 glass of skim milk
2 Strawberries with dabs of sugar
 
Dinner

Salad with Italian Dressing

1 Quasedia with everything on it

One plate containing:
1 scoop of corn
1 scoop of green beans
1 scoop of beef stew (192 calories)

One glass of skim milk
 
Breakfast
Kellogg's Special-K Cereal with skim milk

Lunch
1 Bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup
1 Chicken Teriyaki Rice Bowl (500 oz)

salad with chicken patti italian dressing, bacon bits, and bread crumbs
1 chicken patti sandwich with a dab of mayanoisse, lettuce, tomatoes, and peppers
1 Small Taco Wrap with chicken, peppers, etc
1 serving of Asian Vegetable Soup (36 calories)
 
Breakfast
Kellogg's Special-K with skim milk

Lunch
1 Chicken Teriyaki Rice Bowl (452oz)
1 glass of water

Dinner
Salad with Italian Dressing, bacon bits, and bread crumbs
1 bowl of Whole grain cereal with skim milk
small portion of red rice
1 glass of skim milk

---Note: I didnt feel like eating much right now, especially after I tasted the sweet and sour cabbage - it wasn't good. There was also a chicken course (forgot the name), but I didnt eat too much because it didnt taste that good.

As for excercising, Im a bit packed this week with school work, so Im going to have to do it once Im done with all the hmwk and tests....

1 bottle of Coke C2 (45 calories total, 12grams of carbs, and half the sugar amount of regular coke)

Salad with italian dressing, and all the usual
1 apple
partial plum steak (calories in the 300's)
(if I can recall correctly) some veggies and rice

Lunch
One chicken teriyaki bowl of rice 492 oz
1 glass of water

Workout
30 min of aero-bicycle including 20 min at 160 target heart rate
upper body workout machines and free weights
abs crunches with bicycle stretches

Snack
1 bottle of Lime Powerade

Dinner
1 glass of skim milk
1 bowl of spaghetti with marinnara - no sausages (sausages was 600 calories!)
1 serving Thai Stir-fry stir noodles
1 Fried Veal Marsala (they said it was only 163 calories, but it tasted too good to be that little) :confused:


I have some big news! Today I weighed myself and Im 187 pounds, 5 pounds lighter than my original 192 pounds..... :D Oh tis a day to celebrate!

One thing I have to remember is to maintain a steady and healthy exercise plan. The problem I heard in weight loss is people tend to lose water first and so many believe that's fat they're losing when in actuality it's just water, so my plan is to make sure my excercising is burning the fat so Im actually losing the fat, not just only water....

Today I did a Cal-Test where they pinch me to measure my body fat - current level is 27.5%, a little above the unhealthy danger zone limit. I hope this will change after a few months...


Onto my meals

Breakfast
Soybean milk with Rice Krispies Cereal cereal (I decided to switch to this other than milk because Im running out of milk and only have powerdered soybean milk left, and also Im getting stomaches in the morning from the milk - which is kind of wierd considering my not lactose-intolerant, though Im guessing it's because of the cold weather outside)

Lunch
1 helping of Seasoned Yellow Rice
1 helping of Refried Beans
1 helping of Chinese Rice with Bean Sprouts
salad with italian dressing and the usual additons
1 glass of skim milk


Note - I have decided to pump my workout to 40 minutes on the aero-machine, including 30 minutes at target heart rate of 160.... Along with the regular weight workouts...
 
Dinner
I indulged a bit over on the Baked Chicken and Noodles (361 calories per serving)
salad with italian and the usual

Even though I didnt go out today Im going to workout a lot tommorow!

The weather is pretty bad right now - sleeting ice and freezing rain, but Im determined to goto the gym today.

approx 3 scoops of fried vegatable rice
 
5 pounds is wonderful, your hard work is being rewarded
