Playlist suggestions!

Black Eyed Peas - Pump It

I forgot to mention them. When I run, I don't like wearing headphones, so I carry my Sony phone because it has a good sounding speaker on it. Anyway, my phone is loaded with lots of Black Eyed Peas songs, they're about all I like to run to. Normally I don't like them much, but it's great for running to.

"Latin Girls" is the best... if you're a guy. ;)

Also lots of Cake songs, such as

The Distance (race oriented lyrics)

Meanwhile, Rick James...

Shadow Stabbing (absolutely awesome for cardio)

...and lots others.

Hellogoodbye!

They are a great band, one of my faovurite. They have an electronica sound, not so much club music. But it's catchy and gets me moving to the beat!

Would be great for those areobic workouts!

thanks every for the advice
i started making up my list
besidse the songs suggested here's what i got so far:

mims purple popcorn - this is why i rock
warren g nate dogg - regulators
3 6 mafia - dope boy fresh
nerd - rock superstar
swizz beats - its me bitches
r kelly - im a flirt

Hmm I need some more ideas. Personally not to keen on metal atall, let alone when exercising. I find dance/trance or drum n bass is good, but not all songs, they have to have a certain something about them. So far I use pendulum for the most part, with a few assorted dance songs but still need alot more. Bit of Jay z and chillis, chillis not v good though (for workout).

Anyone know good dance/trance/club/drum n bass for working out?

-RJ

god i have so much good club music for working out...

christina aguilera - thunderpuss dirty remix
dj mystik - butterfly
dj encore - high on life
lucas prata - and she said

Good trance dance music for working out

I swear by trance and dance music for working out. The beats per minute are faster so I tend to follow them for cardio work. I listen to more melodic chilled trance or progressive music when I am doing musculation.

The dutch are the best for trance so check out:

TIESTO - I recommend the "In search of sunrise" albums and NYANA.
FERRY CORSTEN - (best one I own: "passport to the kingdom of the netherlands)
ARMIN VAN BUUREN (Best album: SHIVERS)

Also good trande:

ABOVE AND BEYOND (more chilled)
Marcus Schulz
Gabriel and Dresden
Judge Jules
Paul Oakenfold
Pete Tong

Also check out:

BOB SINCLAIR (More house)
DAVID GUETTA (HOUSE)
DEEP DISH (house)

Google them and listen to their stuff.

Also if you have an IPOD...try downloading the podcast DANCE DEPARTMENT its totally free and has a variety of different dance music.
IT is so great.....you have got to check it out!

YOure right the CHILIS are impossible to work out too....far too slow in my opinion!

LEt me know how you get along! Music is the essential key to my workouts~!

:)

You might want to try the website . They have free playlists of music designed for different activities. They tell you the BPM so you know if it's good for walking, running, spinning, yoga, etc.

Right now I've been loving a lot of the songs off the new Hanson album, it's absolutely incredible. But I guess my Ipod playlist is looking something like this:

Switchfoot - We Are One Tonight
*Totally awesome steady beat. Soo pumping*
Hanson - Watch Over Me *Excellent Cool Down/2.5mph*
KT Tunstall - Suddenly I See *Ladies this is soo motivating*
Jimmy Eat World - Work *Close your eyes, it's summer*
Mae - Suspension *Oh WOW!*
Switchfoot - I Dare You To Move *Best warm up walking song EVER*
Modest Mouse - Gravity Rides Everything *Sunday Drive*

If you're one for thinking and embracing your walk, these are amazing song, they're both speed worthy and meaning full, definitely pumps me up and makes me feel AMAZING!
