Playlist suggestions!

Yea I listen to music always.

Find i can't work out properly without music, always have my mp3 player with me, the vigor of my pace tends to generally correspond with the tempo of the music, also i push myself further with music as it acts as a distraction from my fatigue:)

I had one of the best workouts of my life today and I had In Flames, Soilwork, Nashville Pussy, The Hellacopters and Fu Manchu right there in my ears. It gets me so pumped I feel like I'm on drugs.... :jump:

Music is very therapeutic.

one of the things I really hate about my gym is the (c)rap music they have blaring most times so loud it drowns out what's on my Ipod... Music is definitely a motivator for me but it depends on what I'm doing and what my mood is - many of my play lists are mood specific...

There's a lot of varietyin what I listen to - I will listen to anything from Aerosmith, AC/DC, Sabbath, Pantera, the Kinks, the Ramones, to some obscure unsigned bands who's music I've pulled from .

Personally I find disco music works great for working out. It also goes great with house work. Dancing around to the Village People or Gloria Gaynor while vacuuming is the best!! Pilates though really work with something like Enigma IMO. I do dance music too but disco is what does it for me!!:)

Yeah metal for me all the way when I'm working out both weights and cardiovascular.

Slayer, Lamb of God, Machine Head and the like all make me go for longer, and get me in that 'burning all my energy is fun!!!' kind of mood.

Work out music

what do all of you guys like to work out to? any favorite songs or artists?

i love imogen heap and frou frou

I bought a couple CD's from NETA and play them when lifting at home. When I'm unmotivated, I'll put the darn CD in and then before the first song is done... there I am doing what I'm supposed to be. Also, now when I hear those songs on the radio, I'm all pumped to go work out. For me, it's a big plus in the motivation department. On mornings where I have to be quiet because everyone else is sleeping and I have to work out without music, it's just not the same intensity. I don't feel nearly as into it. Some of the video's I do have music (real songs not just the constant background beats) and when I hear those, I just want to go do the video. I can't listen to that RESPECT song without wanting to do AB's of Steel.

Music is fantastic for working out... it really keeps my mind off of how long I've been going for. Right now, I've got the Foo Fighters and the Tea Party on my MP3 player. I'll switch it up eventually, but for the moment, Dave Grohl screaming into the mic is really motivating!

I dont know if you have seen the movie "Warrior" that was released last year. Very inspiring movie with a very inspiring soundtrack. Its very much like Rocky, but MMA version. Here's the song that I've found really inspiring which turned out to be a good alternative to listen to after I've got bored from "Eye Of The Tiger".

So here it is "Listen to the Beethoven":
