Performance -Not Enough!

Hey FF I just had the honor of running and mountain biking with the second fastest runner in the state of Nebraska.

He is my neighbors nephew, only a couple years older than me. We hit it off pretty good and ended going mountain biking and running. I could hardly keep up with him, and had to cut it short while he resumed his training. But it felt great training with someone!

The dude is a machine. He runs 80+ miles a week. 4:06 mile.

WOW!!!! That's a bit too fast mate :D 5km = 3.1 miles

5 km 13:00 World Record holder:Sammy Kipketer 03/26/00

Its all about your power to weight ratio. If you can keep your power while weight drops then its a non-issue. Its not hard to "beef" up again after tri season. If you are actually losing power as you lose weight-well thats different.
