Good for you Vic, another day with no b/p!

No binge here yesterday, but last night I sure wanted a larger evening snack.

Lets not binge tomorrow.

Some days are weird like that. Glad you managed it anyway. If you ever have trouble again just weigh out some nuts. Healthy, nutritious, and very easy to bring your calories up with.
 
Good for you Petal, not bingeing is great! And removing the temptations will help.

Thanks LaMa, nuts are a good idea, I have not had any nuts except a few on salads in a long time.

I did not binge today, but I did eat a couple of junk food snacks this evening. I did it as the easy way to bring my calories for the day up to 1,300. Eating fruit would have been a better idea. Not a binge, just not the best food choice.

Nothing wrong with having a controlled amount of junk food now and then but I am curious to know why you didn't fancy the healthier options.
 
I'm tempted. Just got back and I've been so tense for so long I'm sore all over. And now I want something easy and comforting. Like, you know: icecream. But icecream messes up my stomach and makes my jeans pinch. Pinching jeans aren't very nice. Maybe some crackers and cheese. Will try and come up with something decent.
 
Laziness, the junk food was easier to get at. No good reason.
that's true.......temptation is always surrounding us! so to bypass that, just give urself a treat whenever you reach ur specific short term target. dat way, u'll be looking forward to d treat than being attempted to break ur own rules, it helps a lot! And dat way I can be able to make some progress with my weight loss jorney!
 
Setting achievable short-term goals can help with motivation and rewarding yourself for working toward your goals is probably good for your self esteem. But if I were to reward myself with food regularly I think it might throw me off course.

Hey Thoby, welcome. You are right about temptation, always there. I did not binge today, but I was tempted. Don't know if it was the lack of exercise, or improving stomach but I sure wanted more to eat this afternoon than I should have. I got past it, but it was no fun.

I was tempted all day yesterday. If I had chocolate bars or nice icecream I would have demolished them . It was a hungry day but I ate pretty well . I feel today could be too but I will just eat properly again and hope it eases off . Good job everyone seems to be managing ok .
 
Good for you Petal! Resisting those temptations cannot be easy, but you did it!

No binge for me yesterday, and no strong urges it was a good day. Keeping busy helped.

Hi Rob. Checking out this thread as my BED has been ruling my life lately. Time to start focusing my attention on making changes.
