You should of course do what works for you. However I don't intend to pressure anyone. Just suggest not bingeing one day at a time. Every morning we are all equal again. Yesterday doesn't much matter, its past and gone.I´m going to stay away from here for a while again because everything feels like pressure right now
Which cortex is that in?the pressure´s coming from the jerk brain
Errr... The occipital lobe, which does vision, normally feeds the parietal lobe, which turns the images we see into a story about the world around us. But when we imagine things things go the other way so we can "see" things in our mind's eye. The amygdala does fear, if I'm not messing up my neuro-anatomy (which I very well may be because I used to hate it). I'm assuming the same thing goes there: the amygdala may flood my brain with anxiety, leading my parietal lobe to think up reasons for that fear, or my parietal lobe could think up horror stories and enslave the amygdala. So... I don't know. I'll just say prefrontal cortex because that's usually the answer when talking about anything that's very human.Which cortex is that in?
I´m not sure that it is, outside of the Captain Awkward forums. But it is helpful sometimes. Glad you had an easier day. Thanks for the explanation LaMa! Did not know "jerk brain" was a technical term.
