I would like to join however it sounds a lot more complicated than previous challenges I have entered and can't promise to do everything I am supposed to do since I lack a computer at home so therefore will just follow along and wish you luck along the way. Good luck everyone!
It does sound a bit complicated....lots of posting. I'm excited though! :D!

darned technology!

January 15th - 21st does require daily postings, so maybe just skip that challenge and still send in your weight and exercise completed at the end of the week?? All the other challenges will only require you to post/PM me once a week on Thursday... I hope that helps! :blush5:

I only have one concern: I have no access to gym and I live at very remote area in Norway. Very icey and cold that It would be difficult to walk outside. My only form of exercise will be Wii Sport, Wii Fit and Fit plus. I hope I will be able to complete all the challenges to the best of my ability.

Good luck everyone

No worries...

I also have no access to a gym, or even to a Wii Fit! All the exercising will be things anyone can do at home, or in a gym!

I was in maintenance up until a couple of weeks ago - but have celebrated Christmas (while away from home) a bit too much... I hated moving my ticker away from goal - but I need to admit to the truth. Hopefully I can stop the rot and stop my weight from shooting upwards... With New Year still to come - I really wonder how high this can go...

I am wearing a size bigger jeans than last week and hoping to get back down asap...

Since the first challenge is regarding water drinking - some people may be interested to read something that I put together for ANOTHER DIET FORUM on the subject. It explains not only how to calculate how much water we should drink (not everyone thinks in ounces or pounds) - but also why it is so very important...

I tend to round my allocation up to the next half litre and drink that many half litre bottles of water if I am being good (unlike recently)...

I am currently just praying that my gain is mainly sodium and am planning on drinking my full allocation plus maybe half a litre extra to try to flush it out of my system extra quickly as soon as I can retake control...

Thanks!

Thanks so much for the additional Water information Omega!!

I hope you get back to maintaining your weight soon!!! :coolgleamA:

I am very excited!! I have been on hold for the last 5 months due to medical issues. I had surgery on Dec. 14th and will not be able to start really working out until I am released by my Dr. which hopefully will be on the 4th!! I weighed 207 when I had to stop in Aug. I was soooo close to breaking out of the 200's!! So lucky all of you, you get to go on that journey with me!!!

Challenge Safety...

Since the first challenge involves liquid consumption, I wanted to advise common sense and SAFETY.

If you're running low on your liquids for the day, don't chug a bunch of water in a short span of time to "catch up." Drinking should be done throughout the day over time.

Remember it may be a challenge, but getting healthy is goal number ONE!!
