Don't scare me!!!!!!

But yes, you are right :iagree: with ALL you say!

Oh I don't want to scare you!

I just think its important, that as your losing the weight, to keep in mind that this needs to be a Life Change. Once you hit Goal the work isn't over. In fact for me that may be the harder part of the entire journey. I definitly need to keep this in mind everyday. Its not I'm going to lose this then I'm in the clear.

Now that I've had the experience of losing weight and gaining it back I need to be sure that as I'm losing the weight I build really strong habits and change the way I look at my diet. Last time I was more like: "I'll get through this misery and then I'll be skinny. End of story. Roll Credits." I need to change that outlook. Its more like: I need to teach myself to enjoy the monitoring, the veggies, the fiber, the water, the exercise.

Good job everyone for having a great start and to those who are sick or could not stay on your goals dont worry, it's just been 2 days and we have 5 weeks and 5 days still left....So go teamies go!!!!!!!

I had my monthly visitor yesterday but I felt like crap on Thursday and yesterday. I ate well for most part but could not get on the elliptical at all. Looking fwd to working out today.

BTW, what do u all think about working out from 9-10 and then going to bed around 10:45? I do eat a half cup of plain yogurt after workout and I am done with my dinner by 7 at the latest.

I'm not even gonna think about maintinence at this point. I'm so far from there anyways. Currently, my struggle is between going "full force" and doing like 1500 cals, or just learning how to cut back. I WANT to go full force, but my mind is telling me no, learn how to do it the right way for once!! you know? I feel torn, but I guess as long as I loose some weight, its all good.

Hey Korrie - I was gonna touch on this in your diary but forgot - ha ha ha - geeesh!

I think you just need to slow down a bit - add more exercise and do moderation - you can have a little bit of everythign and still enjoy things in moderation...ya knwo what I mean - it sounded better in my head but im tired - lol...

No, I understand what you mean! I do want to start walking again. I'm at the point where I'm happy to loose 1 pd a week and keep it off then to loose 4 and keep re-gaining!

Good Im glad. When I first started - all I did was make myself use the elliptical for 30 mins a day and being more aware of what I ate and if you eat well you can eat lots...

Should we start an elliptical thread ?

I wanna start another walking/mile challenege however - I found two places I woudl liekt o go from and too but don't knwo how to find the distance between them ya know...

Mapquest or Google Maps. If you tell me the places, I'll look up the distance for ya.
