Wonderful V-day!

If it’s not too late, I’d love to join!
My weight day is Sunday mornings, so I'll use those numbers too.
I am 24, 121 pounds, 5 3”, and I’d like to lose 6 pounds in the next 6 weeks. Since I don’t have much to lose, even 1 pound a week is so good for me, and really makes a difference.

January 03: 121 lbs (54.9 Kg)

I’ll also include my measurements. Hope to see a change by Valentine’s Day!

Bust: 34.8, Waist (narrowest): 27.1, Abs (widest): 33.8, Hips: 37.6, Thighs:22.4

The scale showed my body fat as 21%. Though that’s not accurate, I’ll take it.

So excited!!!! I will be weighing in on Fridays! My goal is to lose 10 pounds over the six weeks.

Jan 11: 126.8 (-2.6 pounds.....never had weight loss this much in a week!)

SO how'd everyone do on their 1st day???? I did pretty good :) Not AS good as I wanted, but still significantly better than normal :) I'm looking forward to another good day!!

I had a good day yesturday...ate healthy and well - had one treat but nothing like before - no pop either just drank water:) Had salmon , salad, yoguart and cereal...

Good eatin day:) I need to weight myself this morning and then I will offically lock myself in here - hahaha
 
Hi everyone! I couldn't get an internet connection yesterday (or at least not one that lasted for more than a minute) so I'm posting my stats a little late. Hope it's not a problem.

I weigh myself every day, so Thursdays will be fine for me.
I'm hoping to lose 1.5lbs per week.

January 03: 180.1lbs (= 12st 12.1lbs = 81.9 kg)

Hi All!
I did pretty good yesterday!! I stayed within my calorie limit and exercised twice, once in a morning at home on my treadmill and then went to the gym after work for another hour and 15 min!!
Pretty much planning to do the same today as well.
Now I just have to watch the weekend, I tend to over-eat on weekends.. out of boredom i guess.

So far so good.

I have the weekend off & the man is working on base so I'm hoping it will be easy to find time to exercise & eat good stuff that I want rather than trying to deal with making two people happy food wise.

Ok my plan of attack is water areobics four times a week and the gym twice a week and walking the dog every morning...

Oh and that is my ticker for this challenege I would like to loose 7 lbs by Valentine's Day - small goal first to start...

I did pretty good. Got about 45 minutes of exercise in. I had physical therapy today which last and hour. 2 more visits next week and I am done with that. I am starting school next week so we will see how dealing with school and losing weight goes
 
My first day was pretty good, although I had an extra snack at 11.30 pm. But it was only 86 cals. Not that bad :)

Im feeling very positive today as this is my 2nd good day on the row and im going to hit the gym later hopefully not the gym floor!!!

I'm sick with a cold and didn't have a good day yesterday. Feeling better today, took an allergy medicine to combat the runaway runny nose. My goal is to lose 2 pounds per week.

01/04/08: 199.4 pounds
02/14/08 GOAL: 187.4

EDIT: I've changed my rate of weight loss to a slower, more manageable (hopefully more long term) rate, so my new target will be a loss of 6 pounds, or 1 pound per week.

I did awesome for the first day. I worked out twice and ate normal/good. I was happy to wake up to a 1-pound difference! I know it was water or something because my stomach isn't all round like it's been lately. That is a great start. :D
 
I made it out of my post-vacation / sickness funk a few days ago, and yesterday continues that trend.

I was thinking I'd "play along at home" with the BL Challenge, just for fun, but I realize now that I just ate a cookie. Oops. (It was a homemade, nutritionally dense, relatively low-sugar cookie, but still.)
 
Good job everyone who had a great day 1 start. For everyone who didn't do as good as expected, never give up - it is more difficult to get back on track but if you have this power, half of the weight problem is solved. As for me, I am strict to fulfill my plan. I did all the exercies and ate my daily food exactly as I have planned it. But it is a long way ahead of us yet! :grouphug:
 
Hey guys, wooo just back from the gym, and a successful day of healthy eating! Yaaay, now I'm gonna go meet a friend in the city, hopefully I can sway her away from the pub+towards the dancefloor!

How are you getting on??

Wulsk, you're doing fantastic so far, I'm in awe! How long did that weight loss take?!
 
Just got back from a good workout at the gym. Have gotten my eating back under control too. Feeling so much better already both physically and mentally.

Seems like everyone is off to a great start. Let's keep it up!
