Hey, Tom! How was your workout today?

On Tues and Thurs I just do spinning at 5:30pm - but am thinking of adding in the yoga dvds I got in the mornings... So in short - no workout today, though I got called by the local paper to talk about the Shape Up PA program... It's tough being a media star lol

Workout 2/6

Spinning

Interval class - was difficult at first but once my legs stopped burning it went ok lol. Also gave my spinning instructor a taste of the pb granola and she said it was delicious and asked for the recipe (and said it'd be a great post workout food).
 
The turkey chili is in the crockpot as we speak. Was going to make something else for supper tonight, but you talked me into the chili. It should be done about the time Greene comes home tonight.

Also going to make the protein bars. I don't have the almonds and the cranberries, but going to use raisins instead. We'll see what they taste like when they are done..:D
 
OMG, if the bars taste anything like the spoon (had to have a little taste), they are going to be the bomb...:D It will defintely taste better than the snickers (no offense Wendy).

Portion control... Portion control... lol The hardest part for me was when they were baking and the scent of the peanut butter was wafting through the house.

I enjoyed the turkey chili with a nice big slice of pumpernickel bread for lunch - deeelicious :) I might just be getting the hang of this here cooking thing. :)

Not going to bold anything today - as I was trying to get back to paying close attention to proper form. So although the numbers are roughly the same, the work done to achieve them increased.

30 Minutes Forest Walk (Treadmill)

Had a terrible time on the treadmill today - started as usual but quickly dialed it back - I just was not up to it today... Must be the tough interval class and the pilates class I had.. still, there's something to be said for active rest.

Ah yes portion control...:D I loved the smell too while it was baking and also when everything was mixed together cooking on the stove. The smell of that was heavenly.

Not sure what I'm going to have with the chili. Greene always has pb sandwiches, but I crush up crackers and put it in the bowl. Might do both, but only one pb sandwich.
