Motivational sayings and/or affirmations.

Nice one, Cate! And oh-so-true! Change is scary, but can be a good thing and is definitely a necessary part of life. :)
 
Every week at Tai Ch'i I shuffle a set of affirmation cards & choose one (or it chooses me?).
This was yesterday's-
"I have come to this planet to learn to love myself more and to share that love with all those around me."
The reverse was-
"I come from the loving space of my heart, and know that love opens all doors."
At the moment my strength, love & support are being called on so this is very appropriate. :beating: xo Cate
 
You do Tai Chi? That's awesome! I have always wanted to learn that! It's so beautiful and graceful!

The quote is quite moving. It's true what they say, "All you need is love." That's the ultimate answer to all problems - love. If we love our environment more we would take better care of it, if we loved our fellow man more there would be less crime and no wars, if we loved ourselves and our bodies more we would take better care of ourselves and there would be less health problems. If you dig deep you will find love is the answer to all problems. :) That's my thought on it anyway.

When I'm feeling down I just walk out on to my terrace and look at the beautiful sea view and realize how lucky I am. I've lived in the same house for 20 years and the view never fails to make me feel grateful.

I know that isn't supposed to be taken literally but it made me smile as when my kids were young as soon as the rain or storm started my husband would search out rain wear and take them out to play . It was so that they didn't develop a fear of storms like so many kids do but they had so much fun and have lovely memories of getting wet and muddy and then coming home to a warm bath.

I love that quote. I remember reading in a magazine many years ago about how a smile can cheer somebodies day up and have made a point of smiling at strangers ever since. Some people look at me as if I'm a crazy woman but most smile back. I love the videos on youtube where free hugs are given out in the street. Here's one if you've never seen one
 
Now that is one campaign that I am glad has reached Australia. There should be more hugs!! :grouphug: :grouphug::beating:
