Motivational sayings and/or affirmations.

"Often people attempt to live their lives backwards; they try to have more things, or more money, in order to do more of what they want, so they will be happier. The way it actually works is the reverse. You must first be who you really are, then do what you need to do, in order to have what you want."
~Margaret Young

"Have a bias toward action -
let's see something happen now.
You can break that big plan into small steps
and take the first step right away."

Right on! The journey of a thousand steps begins with the first step.

Great quote Stacy. Thank you :) xo

"The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own.
No apologies or excuses.
No one to lean on, rely on, or blame.
The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey
and you alone are responsible for the quality of it.
This is the day your life really begins."

Nice! I like the visualizing techniques that this goes with. It's so helpful to visualize a smaller you when that's what you're shooting for. :D

"Do not waste precious time on your faults.
Change those faults by seeing them disappear.
See the positive images instead.
Only think about the fault once;
then cross it out and see the image of the “new” YOU.
Every minute, every hour, visualize the way you want to be.
Get excited about the new YOU."

Mine is being sorely tested today. I'll be back later with a better one xo

Long, boring story Stacy but it has faded into insignificance now. I sorely need some motivation today( a longer story that will have to wait) so had better try to find some....

- Eleanor Roosevelt.

I'll need this one for a while.

I'm sorry you're having troubles right now, Cate. You give so much inspiration to other people, I wish there was a way I could give some to you and some motivation too. Just know that I'm here if you want to talk, you can send me a private message if you would prefer.

I hope things get better for you soon, sweetie!

So true. One of my sisters who we always considered to be the 'weak' one in a crisis was the one that kept together and organized us all when my dad had a heart attack many years ago.
