realwork are you doing an atkins diet or what is this keto diet you are talking about?

A ketogenic diet is high in fats and protein, and very low or no carbs at all ( usually sub 50 ). This will force the body into a state of ketosis where "ketones" are used as a fuel source instead of glucose.

Fat will be able to oxidate faster because of the extremely low insulin levels.
It is very efficient, and many bodybuilders and lifters use it for their cutting phase. Has helped some people to overcome that barrier of 10% BF, and finally hit 7/8% as well.

Yeah, it's basically an Atkins diet except that there are built in carb-up days where you eat a ton of carbs to restore leptin and glucose, etc.

Had a great workout last night. Finished it off with a tasty meal...all high protein stuff.

Heh, I haven't had that kind of stuff for a long while. I still love hamburgers and have them all the time (home prepared), but haven't eaten a fast food burger for a while.

This was delicious!

A salad with romaine and italian lettuce, mushrooms, half a tomato, cucumber slices, two egg whites and one whole egg.... and some ranch dressing. It's been a long time since I enjoyed ranch dressing guilt free!

I wished this bowl would have never emptied.. heh.

Here it is without the dressing...

And with..

I'm not one for fancy foods.

I've only ever eaten very simple things, not into any spices etc. I quite enjoy a few eggs and some tuna though lol.

damn that looks great..!

How exactly do you prepare that? Like, get all the ingredients in the omlette inside an egg casing... how do you do that?

fry off the onions peppers chilli garlic and ginger in a little olive oil
beat the eggs in a bowl with the sweetcorn.
add to the pan lower the heat and cook all the while mixing with a spatula
after a couple of mins the base should be cooked and move as one in the pan.
ad the tuna and sprinkle with cheese and pop under the grill un till the cheese as melted and you`re good to go.:D
