Day 46

Goal 1: ACHIEVED! Goal 2: In Progress...

Weight: 296.4

Breakfast: 2 yogurts,1 banana, 1 cup of coffee.

Lunch: 2 pieces of steak (medium rare 3oz.), 1 side of mashed potatoes, 1 side of green beans, 1 side of macaroni and cheese. 1 16 oz. Pepsi.

Dinner:1 Healthy Choice TV dinner (Salisbury Steak). 1 can of Pepsi.

Miscellaneous: 1 bottled water, 1 cup of diet iced tea.

Exercise: 3 hours of walking.

Good job Matt, keep pushing it! You should really try for at least once or twice a week to do a home cooked meal instead of eating processed food or out...I don't know how your schedule looks like, but a change like that can make a huge difference on your weight loss journey and in eventually changing your diet to healthier choices (you will become more conscious of what it is exactly that you are putting on your body).

Thanks. Sort of It's the lowest I've been in a long time. Around 2007 I went on a diet and lost 40 lbs. I started at 279 and got to 239.Sadly I gained it back and then some.

Weight: 294

Breakfast: 1 bagel and cream cheese from Panera bread, 1 cup of coffee.

Lunch: 1/2 Banh Mi sandwich ), 1 bag of kettle cooked potato chips, 1 side salad (lettuce, onions, cucumbers, olives, peas, pepperoncini, honey mustard dressing) all from Jason's Deli.1 16.9 oz. Pepsi.

Snack: 1 mini snickers bar.

Dinner:1 Marie Callender's TV dinner (Steak and Potatoes). 1 can of Pepsi.

Miscellaneous: 2 bottled waters, 1 cup of diet iced tea.

Exercise: 3.5 hours of walking.

I'm going to call it, goal 2: achieved! Now it's time to move to goal 3: 20 lbs, (295-275).
 
Day 48

Weight: 294.2

Breakfast: 2 packets of oatmeal, 1 glass of milk, 1 cup of coffee.

Lunch: 1/2 Asiago steak sub and 1 cup of turkey chili from Panera bread.1 16.9 oz. Pepsi.

Snack: 1 fun size snickers bar.1 mini Baby Ruth bar.1 mini Snickers bar. 2 pieces of gum.

Dinner:1 Healthy Choice TV dinner (Country Chicken). 1 can of Pepsi.

Snack: A few grapes

Miscellaneous: 2 bottled waters, 1 cup of diet iced tea.

Exercise: 3.5 hours of walking.

Yeah I ate a little too much candy today, though in my defense it is Halloween. Happy Halloween everybody!

Weight: 293.2

Breakfast: 2 yogurts, 1 glass of milk.

Lunch: 1 Roast deef sandwich (roast beef, lettuce, onion, avocado, peppercorn gourmaise, olive oil mayo), 1 small salad (lettuce, onion, avocado, cucumber, Olive garden lite dressing).2 cans of Pepsi.

Dinner:1 piece of baked chicken, 1/2 pieces of salmon, mashed potatoes.1 can of Pepsi.

Snack:1 Apple

Miscellaneous:1 cup of chai tea. 2 cups of diet iced tea.

Exercise: 4 hours of walking.

Wow, you're awesome! I really like seeing that you only had one Pepsi on this day. You've come a long way and I admire all you've accomplished. Journaling your food in this way is an excellent way to succeed! Keep it going!

Thanks.I actually had 2 Pepsi's, but you're right, it is a vast improvement. I used to drink 5-6 Pepsi's.

Lunch: 1/2 Italian Sub, 1 cup of vegetable soup w/pesto and a piece of french baguette bread.1 chocolate chip cookie. All from Panera bread.1 16.9 oz. Pepsi.

Dinner:1 piece of baked chicken, 1/2 pieces of salmon, mashed potatoes. 2 cans of Pepsi.

Miscellaneous: 2 cups of diet iced tea. 1 bottled water.

Exercise: 3.25 hours of walking.

I had a hectic day and I skipped breakfast. I also had a cookie, I figured I could eat it since I didn't have anything substantial for breakfast. I'm not going to make a habit of this.

Snack: 1 Snickers mini, 1 Milky Way mini, 1 mini bag of M and Ms

Dinner:1 Marie Callender's TV dinner (Steak and Potatoes), 1 side cucumber salad (cucumber, onions, olives, Asian sesame vinaigrette dressing).2 cans of Pepsi.

Miscellaneous: 1 cup of diet iced tea. 1 bottled water.

Exercise: 4 hours of walking.

My weight starting to go up again I hope it's not the start of a trend. I'm guessing it's because I had to work earlier and I weighed myself earlier. Unfortunately I fell victim to a craving for sweets so I had some candy.

Breakfast: 2 yogurts, 1 glass of milk, 1 cup of coffee

Lunch: 3 (small) pieces of bourbon salmon, 1 side of green beans, 1 side of mashed potatoes, about 2 tbsp of Thai stir fry. 1 16 oz. Pepsi. 1 shot of Starbucks strawberry frappucino.

Dinner:1 Healthy Choice TV dinner (Salisbury Steak).1 can of Pepsi.

Snack: A few grapes.

Miscellaneous: 1 cup of diet iced tea. 1 bottled water.

Exercise: 4 hours of walking.

My weight is going in the wrong direction AGAIN. Like Kaplooie said, it may be water retention, I probably should be drinking more water. (Though couldn't diet iced tea technically be considered water? I mean its basically flavored water.)
 
Matt, I can't say that I was a big lover of water, but made myself get used to it. You can do it! The more water you drink the better you will feel. Diet iced tea & Pepsi is too far removed from nature & so full of artificial stuff to provide what our bodies need. Our minds are so strong that I'm sure you can make yourself get used to it, if you make the decision to do so. Persevere. Try cutting down on salt too(it's in most processed food). I try to weigh myself weekly only as my weight fluctuates a lot & it can do your head in.

I'm with Cate on that, diet anything is a chemical shit storm. Look at the nutrition label and see if it has sodium in it. Not that I'm anti sodium, your body needs some, but not as much as the standard american diet will have you consuming.

Lunch: 1/2 Asiago Steak sub, 1 bowl of vegetable pesto soup, 1 baguette roll from Panera Bread, 1 16 oz. Dr. Pepper.

Snack: A few grapes.

Dinner:1 Marie Callender's TV dinner (Slow roasted beef).1 can of Pepsi.

Miscellaneous: 1 cup of diet iced tea. 4 bottled waters.

Exercise: 3.16 hours of walking.

Ok my weight went down finally. I drank a crap load of water today (...and spent most of the day peeing lol) I guess that's another one of my problems I love salt too much. BTW the diet iced tea has 35 mg of sodium per 12 oz serving.I drink Gold Peak Iced tea fyi.
