Stupid Monday weigh ins...I swear! I'm down 1.1 pounds today from yesterday, which puts me at the same I was all weekend. What's with Monday? I didn't really even do much though I ate salty on Saturday. Pfffft.
 
I didn't really set myself a target of how much to lose...as long as I lose, I'm happy. *lol*

So far I've lost 7.3 lbs since Sept. 1st...oh, and I managed to resist all those fast food places while I was in Manchester with my Mom...I'm a McD junkie, and just walking past there and not caving in made me so proud of myself....stupid, isn't it? *lol*

No its not stupid. We all feel the same way when we resist. I know I do. Good job with the loss so far.
 
I know I was supposed to post my weigh in yesterday but I had a 4 hour lab that went right to the last minute, then I had to go straight to work.

Sept 1: 139.0 (Super high from the bad eats.)
Sept 8: 138.4 (-0.6)
Sept 15: 141.2 (+2.8)
Sept 22:
Sept 29:
Sept 30:

I caved sunday night and just munched out. I didn't really eat any greasy food, but I had ice cream and crispers and stuff just before bed. Oh and lasagna. Not to mention TOM is probably going to be here tomorrow. I weighed in today at 139.2 so thats 2 lbs less than yesterday. Still working out and trying to stick to good things.
 
Yeah! I weighed in exactly 20 pounds less that my highest weight today. Boy that felt good. :auto:

Really good job. Want to put it into some perspective? Take twenty pounds of butter and stack them up. That's what you lost. Quite the pile, huh?
 
Hi all...sorry that I have been "out" I am down with Bronchitis and double ear infections! UGH! I think I may have broke a rib coughing! LOL!

I haven't lost any and I haven't gained any either so I am still at 245...I haven't been able to work out AT ALL! :(

Good job to those of you who have stayed the fight! As soon as this Bronchitis clears up I am right back on that treadmill! Yippee!!

Hey, losinit. Bronchitis sucks, especially when you have little ones at home that won't let you "call in sick."

Even though you are sick, getting on here and starting a diary and checking things out will help.

Wanna know something cool? Ive found that as you lose weight and exercise more you dont get as sick as often. Anyone else notice this? I dont think Ive been sick since January, right at the start of my weight loss.
 
I'll let you know this winter. I don't usually get sick in the summer, but winters seem to get me with a cold that just doesn't shake. Hopefully this year will be different.
 
Drink Kombucha and Acai juice every morning in winter, and exercise 5 days a week--then let me know if you get sick or not.

I did that last winter and didn't get sick at all--even when I was working with people who were ill for weeks!

But I got sick in March after partying for weeks at a time......
 
I actually got out and ran 5 miles today. Not the best time, but I'm still happy to have finished it. :driving:
 
In my life, I have never, ever been able to run 5 miles... As far as I am concerned, that is a monumental accomplishment.
 
I was actually thinking about that while running yesterday. I was running down the street where I started five months ago. At that time I did half a mile and was done. Now I did five. *pats self on back*
 
I was doing soo well yesterday and I knew the water weight was going to sibside finally. Then my mom got chinese for dinner. What I hoped would be a small bit of each turned into a massive binge. I mean massive!!!! I had quite a bit of chinese, and ice cream, and crispers, then cookies, and more ice cream, and rice crispy square and granola bar, then cereal..... the day just went to shits. I went on the scale today and saw 139.8 which I expected. I think I'll be happy this month if I can just get down to my old weight of 133.
 
Wow Trops, 5 miles is a lot! I'm finally back into running.

I'm struggling with plantar fasciitis for over 2 years now. I'm sure that losing weight is going to help a ton, but I just can't do the whole "stay off your feet" thing while I'm trying to lose weight! I'd been doing pretty much ok with the foot all this year but in the last month, it went down hill. Sigh. But I have a stretching routine that makes it possible for me to keep running and I think the foot is actually improving. I have an alarm on my desktop at work that goes off every 30 minutes to remind me to get up and move around and stretch my foot. It's a life saver.

Yuck...20 pounds of butter...blech!
 
Stupid scale. I've been feeling slim all week so I figured I'd check out what the ol' scale said. Blah, a whole 0.3 lbs less than Monday. I haven't done measurements in a while but this might motivate me to do so.
