Hey there!
How's the pregnancy going?
Drop in and let us know.
We miss your smiling face, as well as your sparkling personality.
Hurry Back!

Miss you!!!! Stop in and say hi sweetheart!

:hug2:

Just a little update! I miss y'all!

Hey everyone!!! I miss you guys and think of y'all a lot. It's just not the same when I can't really be losing weight along with all of you. No complaints, because I am very happy being big and pregnant, but I can't wait until the Summer when I can start losing weight again!! I hope everyone is going strong and doing great!

Pregancy update: I'm 19 weeks today and I find out what the baby is in exactly two weeks from today! I wish I could have found out sooner but my Dr. wants to make sure that they are accurate when they do the ultrasound, so the further along the better.

Health-wise I am doing great and feeling great. I have maintained my weight, which is healthy and normal for my weight. I go between 209 and 212 regularly.

I have started exercising moderately and am doing a Biggest Loser exercise game with some friends (which I'm pretty sure that I got the idea from someone on this forum) Here's how the game works:

There are 5 things (listed below) that I look for each week during the show. As they happen I keep score of how many times they occur. Then for each time it happens we have to do a certain number of excersises for the week. This is our additional exercise each week to whatever we are already doing.

The five things and the exercises that go with them:

1.A contestant cries - 5 push ups each time
2.The viewer cries (me!)-5 jumping jacks each time....look out, I'm emotional!
3.Product Placement-10 side leg lifts each time, per leg (laying down)
4.Trainers yell- 10 sit ups each time
5.Contestant/Trainer complains -10 minutes(each time) on treadmill/exercise bike/ or walking, biking outiside.(cardio

An example of this would be: In the first episode (the premier of this season) I counted the contestants crying 24 times.(It was the first episode, so of course it was very dramatic and emotional!) So that means I multiplied that by 5 pushups and we did 120 pushups that week. This can be split up over the course of the week.

So far this is what we have:

January 6th-13th
1.120 pushups
2.45 jumping jacks
3.20 leg lifts for each leg. 40 total.
4.10 situps
5.40 minutes of cardio (treadmill/ exercise bike) If you don't have these then walk or bike outside

January 13th-20th
1.115 pushups
2.5 jumping jacks
3.20 leg lifts for each leg. 40 total.
4.121 situps
5.2 hours and 10 minutes of cardio

Hey Kristi! Awesome to hear from you and so glad you posted. Sounds like you're doing amazing, even still doing exercise too! Glad the baby is healthy and can't wait to hear what he/she is.

Hey You!!!!
Soooo good to hear :bigear: from you and know that you are doing so well. Love the Biggest Loser thing you got going. Just be careful doing all those jumping jacks. *Sorry Auntie Bella just popped up her head* :biggrinjester:
Has it really been just 19 weeks? Seems like it was only yesterday that you told us you were preggers.
Of course as soon as you find out what the little bean is you just have to pop on here and let us all know.
Keep up with all your healthy ways!
Catch ya later Gator.

We found out what the baby is!!!!!!!

Well, Chris and I couldn't wait any longer for the scheduled Ultrasound a week and a half away! Yesterday morning we ended up going to a place that does 3D ultrasounds and we found out what we are having!!!!!
...and it's a girl!!!!! :beating:

It was such a magical experience and definitely worth the money. With the package that we got, we get to go back in a couple of months to get another 3D and 4D ultrasound and we'll be able to see exactly what she looks like! She is all developed but doesn't have much fat on her at this point and so it was hard to see what she really looks like. But she is a cutie, nonetheless!!!!! We decided on a definite name, which is Ivy Evangeline. (Evangeline is a southern name that my husband absolutely adores!)

Well, just wanted to pop in and share the great news!!!!

Thank y'all for stopping by, Lisa and Bella!!! ...about the jumping jacks, on the 3rd jumping jack that I did, I felt uneasy about it, so I substitute lunges or more situps in the place of the jumping jacks....It felt too jiggly anyway! hahah!

oh wow! I'm so jealous :D I little baby girl to shop for....you gotta be ecstatic! And love the names you picked out. I've always loved the name Ivy...ever since I read the book "Holly & Ivy" when I was a kid.

CONGRATULATIONS KRISTI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A beautiful girl, so exciting!

Thank you all for the Congrats! :D

I have most of the nursery ready...now we just need a sweet little girl to arrive! Not too soon though, I want her here when she's good and ready! When I get some more time, I'll post pics of the ultrasound pictures and of the nursery (and maybe even a preggie pic of me!)

I've gained 7 pounds so far, weighing in at 216. I hope to keep this kind of steady this trimester, because for the third trimester I know I'll be packing on some weight toward the end. My Dr. was out of town for my last visit, so I had a different one for that visit. He told me to watch my diet and to keep my calories at 2,000 for 6 days of the week and to pick one day to splurge. I haven't started counting calories again, but probably will soon. I need to start walking regularly while I'm feeling this good. (so good that sometimes I wonder if I am even still pregnant....until I look down at my increasingly growing and round belly...and when she gives me a good kick to my bladder or ribs!) Can't wait to meet her face to face!

Hope everyone is doing well and can't wait to jump back on the weight-loss wagon in about 4 months!
