Today I rowed a boat, dug a 15 foot hole, hauled 12 sand bags about 50 feet....wait....no, that's just what I feel like I did! I am EXAHSTED!!

You really had me going for a second. I was about ready to yell at you... "What were you thinking???" Ha ha!!!! Jokes on me.

Also, that is so funny that you posted the picture of the positive test. Paul is on shift right now so I was thinking it would be funny to forward the picture to his email and give him a little heart attack. I don't know if I mentioned this, but we were put on strict NO PREGNANCY orders for at least 6 weeks cuz I had to get my MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) shot when I did my physical for school. Guess I've never been vaccinated... (I had to get chicken pox also! Blah...) Anyway, Paul and I have had to be very ummmm creative...

Anyway, glad to hear that you are doing good with the exception of the exhaustion. Can't wait to hear more.

I'm poppin' in here so I can keep tabs on you everywhere! I'm officially your new stalker! :D

Fine by me! Only if I can stalk you as well! Hey, that sounds like it would be a good movie. Two stalkers stalking each other....lol! I'm sure it would be a short movie cuz they'd find out about it really quick....hmm

Auntie Bella checking in on ya!
Sounds like you got it made in the shade!! Hammock included!!! LOL :smilielol5::smilielol5:
I too love the new ticker.
My last was a complete, let me say that AGAIN!, COMPLETE surprise.
I agree that 2 1/2 will be a good age for Erik. Isa was 3 1/2 and I can still see her face asking "why we couldn't just put him in his room and close the door?" LOL
Glad you got so much family around to help you out.
Now go take a nap! hahaha

haha! It was a nice nap in the breeze! Can't wait until I get to do that again!

That is halarious what your little girl said about her little brother!!!!!! HAHAH! I love the funny stuff that kids say. That was the best part about being a preschool teacher! I always heard something new and unexpected!

Hey there! I saw your little ticker and had to get one for myself. It looks like you are a little further along than I am by about a week. I'm looking forward to reading about your pregnancy and I'm still freaking out about how much we have in common. :) Good luck with everything. Take care.

I love yours too! These are sooo much cuter than the ones on tickerfactory. I was torn between the one I have and the one with the Mama bird feeding the baby bird. Too precious.

I'm going to a pregnancy center on Thursday to get proof of pregnancy so that I can start looking for a Dr. Long story, but I am def. not going with the one I had, because I did not have a good experience with her at all. Any Dr. will be better than her! :cuss:

I am so happy for you and Englan!!! OMG, what is up with the two of you?!? That is so crazy that you are BOTH pregnant and only about a week apart... Crazy!!! I wish I was the third to that, but ah well, it will happen on gods time, not mine. For now, I have got to get better so I could get back on track. I've missed you Kristi, and I'm so happy for you, you just really don't know!!! You better stick around girlie, you'll still lose the weight, it's just a slight pause. Plus, if you keep eating as healthy and try to stay active, you'll probably end up losing weight even during your pregnancy. I actually had lost weight when i was pregnant. How wierd huh? But it's possible. I hope to hear from you soon.... :seeya:
Natasha

Thanks!! You are right about the timing. It will happen when it's right for you and your family. I'm glad you are here too and I will certainly be sticking around! I hope to lose fat while pregnant. I'll see what my Dr. recommends. Thanks again for your support! I couldn't do it without you all!

LOL! Yeah, I know better than to be doing anything too straining, on top of knowing that I couldn't even if I tried! Today was not nearly as tiring as yesterday. I actually got some house work done and put together a play grill/kitchen for Erik that took me two hours! We would have gone outside to get some exercise and fresh air, but it was way too humid and it rained a bit. Insteady I did played "chase" with Erik around the house. By then I was worn out and ready to watch my baby shows! It's funny 'cause they are still playing the same episodes that I watched before Erik was born! It's neat to watch them the second time around though.

LOL! How much longer until the 6 weeks are over(did it just start or is it almost over)? What torture!!!!!! The creative part is great and all...but c'mon!

food

I ate several times today! I never overate (learned from my uncomfortable mistake yesterday at lunch) but I was just literally hungry every couple hours. I read that I need 300 calories over my maintenance now. That's a scary thought. I'm not counting calories, but maybe I should???

Breakfast: Whole wheat pita, natural pb, low sugar strawberry jelly; grapes, chunk of cheddar cheese, grapefruit juice, vitamin

1st Snack: 2 chicken nuggets and a couple bites of corn. (from my son's lunch)

2nd snack: 1/2 BBQ Beef sandwich and a cup of 1% milk

Lunch: Noodles with Broccoli and cheese and a glass of OJ

3rd Snack: 1/2 cup of honey nut cheerios and 1% milk

Dinner: Roast with carrots, yellow and red onions, celery, peas, snap beans and mashed potatoes and 1 cup of 1% milk

4th snack: Kashi Pocket bread: Chicken Rustico....mmmm deeeeliccccioussssssssssss! Def. recommend this! YUM! ice water with lemon.

Maybe... might not be a bad idea just to make sure you're taking in enough of the good stuff. Now more than ever, you should be paying attention to food quality...

Looks like you're doing good. Small meals/snacks spaced close together and a bunch of them during the day. This is a good way to eat regardless of the pregnancy.

On a more personal note, I'm glad you're hanging around here, 'cuz we like ya around...

I didnt know you were preggy! See thats what I get for avoiding this site. Congrats mama. See now I thought I was preggy and Im not, but you are : )

I had a prenatal pilates dvd that I liked when I was pregnant. You might wanna look into that. Its very relaxing, and a good workout.

Again congrats!

SO I just studied pregnancy in my nutrition class THIS WEEK, how funny is that?? for your 1st trimester you do not need to increase your cals at all! BUT for your second trimester, you need to increase your maininenance cals to 340 and in your third trimester, increase it by an additional 450 cals. I know it sounds like alot, but that baby is growing everyday and needs its nutrients!

I agree, I'm glad you're still going to stick around here during your pregnancy! I'm so excited to hear what you are eating, how you are doing, and how EVERYTHING goes!!

Good luck!

I'm not counting calories either and I read the same thing. I should probably start too. :(

I'm definately going to go for the small meals and snacks spaced out, because I am actually feeling the hunger pains every 2-3 hours. It's so strange b/c I'm not doing a whole lot and my body is acting like I've been working so hard. I know that it is, but it's still just so strange. One thing I'm working on is getting more fruit in my diet. Those should add some nutritional calories to my day.

...Thanks! I'm glad to be around, and I'm glad you are around too!

Yay! Thanks! :D

I was thinking about getting something like that today(a pregnancy workout.) Which one did you use?

Confession: I honestly don't have the energy or desire to look up calories right now! Maybe later on when I have more drive. I was falling asleep at 5:00 on the couch and had to force myself to stay awake. I can't believe I'm still hanging on this long. Must...get...sleep...

:D You're crackin' me up!

:D

Today was emotional. I couldn't get the thought out of my head about taking those drugs when I had to get my wisdom teeth pulled and knowing now that I was pregnant then. I called my pharmacy and asked them to give me the names of my last prescriptions and then I looked them up on the internet. Bad idea. There was, of course, every sad and negative story about the effects that one of the medications has on embryos. I was freaking out. I called my MIL and sobbed. She prayed for me and was really comforting, but it's still so hard to get that out of my mind. One thing that she said was to not worry about it today. She said to take it one day at a time if I need and each day, focus on other things and not to worry about it for that day. I don't know if that makes any sense the way I'm saying it, but when she said it, it really helped me. I'll take this one day at a time and focus on that.

Tomorrow morning I go in for an appointment at the PG center. I'll be able to get proof of pregnancy so that I can get an appointment with a Dr. as soon as possible. Chris is going to take off of school and come with me, which will be really nice.

Today's food:

Breakfast: Whole wheat pita with natural PB, low sugar jam and a light laughing cow wedge. vitamins and 1% milk

Snack: 1 orange. water with lemon

Lunch: Spinach Tortellini and Light Alfredo(made with skim milk and romano and parmesan) Water with lemon

Dinner: Leftover roast and veggies. 2 pieces of Very Thin Pepperage Farm bread and light land of lakes butter. 1 % milk

Snack: half of a whole wheat pita with natural pb, low sugar jam, rasins, pumpkin seeds, mixed nuts, half of a laughing cow wedge. and an orange. 1 % milk.

Exercise: Gardening (pulling weeds, planted about 5 plants, watered everything...) and played in the yard with Erik for about 3 hours.

I know it's hard to say not to worry when it's your baby we're talking about but all you can do is pray and have faith that God will make everything okay. God has blessed you with this pregnancy. You are going to have a smooth pregnancy and a healthy baby. I have faith in that. You will always be in my prayers, my friend.
