Pictures from today. Four-five weeks pregnant :)

Well, this is probably the skinniest you will see me for about 8 months!!

Me at 210 lbs today (October 5th, 2008):

Just so you don't have to go back to compare, this is me in May/June 2008:

.

Grats on the pregnancy!!!!! Luckily for you there is no better time to eat healthily and do a bit of exercise than pregnancy! Your weight loss may be slowed to a hault, but your health certainly won't be :D

Infact, you're lucky in a way. What better motivation is there to be healthy?

Congrats again!

Actually, I know Kristi is going to stay around... She loves that camera so much she'll be wanting to share all her pictures from the pregnancy (looking forward to it btw Kristi, ... your smile makes you glow as it is...).

Pop outta here for a few days and look what happens!!!
:hurray:Congrats!!!!:hurray:
How exciting! Seems like there is a baby epidemic here on the forum.
What a wonderful reaon to continue along with your healthy ways.
Just think if my Missions Team does come to New Orleans next summer I could very well get to see the new papoose!!
Just call me Auntie Bella!

Today I rowed a boat, dug a 15 foot hole, hauled 12 sand bags about 50 feet....wait....no, that's just what I feel like I did! I am EXAHSTED!!

Here's what I really did today:

~Took Erik with me to an eye appt. to get new contacts

~Went to my Grandmother's house for lunch...which of course is always a feast. She is from New Orleans and moved over here after my PaPa died. She is a good cook ...I totally overate :ack2:

~Went to my Dad's house to wait for my 2 younger sisters to get home from school and watched baby shows on Discovery Health the rest of the afternoon.

~Went home and my mom came over. I took a nap on my hammock while my mom and Erik played outside. I could barely keep my eyes open.

~Watched more baby shows and did some squats, walking in place, and a 5 minute warm-up routine.

I'm pooped!

Breakfast: Kashi Trail Mix Granola Bar, vitamin, grapefruit juice

Lunch: (at my Grandmother's house) Salad with lettuce, cheese and balsamic vinegar and evoo, Stuffed eggplant (shrimp cornbread dressing), broccoli with smart balance margarine, snap beans with smart balance margarine, 2 sweet potato patties, wheat roll with butter, 3 glasses of diet iced tea

Dinner: Half a wheat pita with broccoli and cheese in it. Grapefruit juice

Snack: Half a wheat pita with natural peanut butter and Low Sugar strawberry jelly. Ice water

Breakfast: Whole wheat pita, natural pb, low sugar strawberry jelly; grapes, chunk of cheddar cheese, grapefruit juice, vitamin

Check'n out the new preggo ticker. Cute...okay, it's settled: I'm living vicariously through you for the next 244 days (but I think I'll pass on all the exhastion, thank you very much. lol).

That hammock nap sounds sooo peaceful!

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CONGRATS!!!!!!!

I just logged on here (first true day of being unemployed) and was shocked and thrilled to read you are preggers! ahaha i just like saying preggers! I squealed! Congratulations! Eat healthy for that baby and keep doing what you are doing!

I agree about the ticker: too cute!!!!

LOL!!!! You can HAVE the exhastion! It's getting old already! I am sooooooooooo thankful that I have a peaceful toddler or I would be pulling out my hair. He keeps himself entertained when I have to lay down or get stuff done. Right now he is sitting down flipping through a book and singing songs. He's a little angel :) I wonder what kind of personality this one will have. If he/she's anything like Erik I will have it made!

THANKS!!!!! I'm soooo excited!!! We've been throwing around the idea of me getting preggers (I like that word too!!) since Christmas, so it wasn't a complete shock, but we were still a little surprised! I am so glad that Erik will have a sibling this close in age. He'll be about 2 1/2 when Baby is born, which I think is a perfect age to have a sibling. It will be right around the time when he's going to really need to learn to share (not only his things, but his space and attention.) I couldn't be happier! I'll def. keep up with what I've been doing. I need it more than ever now!

Auntie Bella checking in on ya!
Sounds like you got it made in the shade!! Hammock included!!! LOL :smilielol5::smilielol5:
I too love the new ticker.
My last was a complete, let me say that AGAIN!, COMPLETE surprise.
I agree that 2 1/2 will be a good age for Erik. Isa was 3 1/2 and I can still see her face asking "why we couldn't just put him in his room and close the door?" LOL
Glad you got so much family around to help you out.
Now go take a nap! hahaha

Hey there! I saw your little ticker and had to get one for myself. It looks like you are a little further along than I am by about a week. I'm looking forward to reading about your pregnancy and I'm still freaking out about how much we have in common. :) Good luck with everything. Take care.

I am so happy for you and Englan!!! OMG, what is up with the two of you?!? That is so crazy that you are BOTH pregnant and only about a week apart... Crazy!!! I wish I was the third to that, but ah well, it will happen on gods time, not mine. For now, I have got to get better so I could get back on track. I've missed you Kristi, and I'm so happy for you, you just really don't know!!! You better stick around girlie, you'll still lose the weight, it's just a slight pause. Plus, if you keep eating as healthy and try to stay active, you'll probably end up losing weight even during your pregnancy. I actually had lost weight when i was pregnant. How wierd huh? But it's possible. I hope to hear from you soon.... :seeya:
