Kristi, as much butt kicking as you do I have NO doubt at all that you're going to make your goals this month. You should be so proud of yourself because no matter what life has thrown at you the past few months you've stuck to it. Glad you're getting time with hubby too :) You'll have to tell me how the movie is...I could watch the preview on auto replay for hours...where Brad Pitt gets punched in the face, lmao. So I went grocery shopping today and made alot of good choices but after I read your food entry for yesterday I realized I forgot to check out the Kashi stuff :X

I was wondering if you had any Lantana down there. I have some under my Oriental Maple. I love the way it grows. Unfortunatly here it will only grow in the warmer months. The winter's are just too cold I guess.
Yours is slightly different from mine. Mine has lots of bright red, orange and yellow in it. If I think about it I will post a pic for you to see.

Glad to hear that you are getting back down on the weight.
Dh and I are hoping to get a Wii this year for the Family for Christmas. Our Wal-Mart typically gets 2 in about every 2 weeks. It is just a matter of being there at the right time.
Back when we weren't looking to get one I actually saw it there twice!!! LOL
Glad your having fun with it.
Love all the Gardening. I took a Master Gardner's class last fall. But unfortunately for me all the continuing education class credits were always on the weekends.
I still got my books though. They can't take those from me!!! hahaha :biggrinjester:

Thank you, Lisa!

Well, I for one was not a fan of the movie. The previews of this movie were the best parts! It was good up to a certain point and then it took a bad turn and fell apart (well for me, anyway.) I know that some people will think this is a genius movie, but for me, if it were a book I would have thrown it across the room after reading the ending. I don't want to give it away, so I won't go into specifics. Aside from hating the ending the "F Bomb" was inserted like every 5th word. My intelligence felt insulted! lol! I DON'T recommend it! I saw another movie by the same producers, called "No Country for Old Men" and I felt the same way. That one was way worse though. No ending whatsoever. This one wrapped it up, but in a terrible way. :ack2: Sorry so negative, but I felt like I wasted money and two hours of my life!

Anyway, good job on the healthy grocery stuff. Did you go with a basic menu in mind? I always forget to do that and then end up having to go back the next day! I did a little grocery shopping yesterday and got some Kashi stuff that I'd never tried before. They have some frozen pita pockets filled with stuff that I can't wait to try. They look good!

Lantanas are so pretty! They look like little barbie bouquets! Mine dies off in the winter and springs back in early spring. I thought it was dead this past winter and almost pulled the whole thing up. Glad I didn't because now it's full of flowers.

Glad to hear that you are getting back down on the weight.

I had the same issue with Wal-mart and everywhere I went, so I finally just ordered it on ebay. It was about 15 bucks more than in the store, but worth it!

I've always wanted to take a Master Gardeners class, but just don't have the time. Eventually I'd like to make the time to go, because it seems like a lot of helpful info. I love gardening books! I have a whole shelf of them, though I've probably only read half! I don't know why, but I am compelled to keep buying them!

Hello friends :)

Well, my journey is about to take a sharp turn down an unexpected road. It's an exciting one, but will put a halt to my weight-loss for...let's see...about 8 months.....Yep. Erik is going to be a big brudder! This absolutely does not mean that I am going to stop doing what I've been doing. It also doesn't mean that I am leaving this wonderful community of friendship and support. I'm just going to have different goals for a little while. I'll just be focusing less on weight loss and more on health and fitness for me and my baby. I do want to try to keep my weight gain to about 20 pounds maximum since I am still overweight. I started at 212 for Erik and I ended my pregnancy at 224. (He did come two months early...so I know I would have gained more) Anyway, I'm hoping to keep up with riding the recumbent exercise bike and want to start walking in my neighborhood. I've been really tired, but I just thought I was still trying to heal from my wisdom teeth. Speaking of, I'm a little worried b/c when I had my wisdom teeth out I had to take all of those pain killers. There's a possiblity that I wasn't pregnant yet b/c I don't know how far along I am. I'll be making an appointment after the weekend to get a blood test to confirm the pregnancy. When I went for Erik they did an ultrasound to find out the due date. I hope they do that again, because I loved getting ultrasounds! I had about 4 or 5 for Erik!! I'll keep y'all posted!

Zomg that's so EXCITING :D Everywhere I went today I saw adorable babies that cooed at me so it's funny coincidence I log in when I get home and one of my fav people is preggers :) So when you're able to know, do you want to know if it's a boy or girl?

:D Thanks everyone!!!! In a couple of weeks we are going to rent a heart monitor, b/c for Erik it was very fun to listen to his heart beat and him swimming around!

Lisa~ When it comes time I am def. going to find out the gender. We both just can't wait long enough to wait until he/she is born! I think we'll find out around February...hopefully earlier! Can't wait!

Breakfast: (in-law's house) 1 pancake with light margarine and syrup and a half of a banana. 1/2 c. of apple juice

There is another thing we have in common. I don't know if you've had a chance to read my diary but I just found out I was pregnant yesterday. This is so Twighlight Zonish!! Congratulations.

WEIRD! I found out on Friday night at midnight, so technically I found out on Saturday too!! This is sooo weird! I wonder if we'll have the same due date! YAY! It's weird to think that between us, we are four people now! lol! I took a second digital pg test today to confirm it, and of course it said Pregnant. It feels more official now for some reason. Even without the tests though, I am starting to feel different. My tummy is starting to feel sensitive when I lay on it and I'm reeeeeallly tired today. I went to a kid's birthday party yesterday evening and felt like I had gone mountain climbing when it was over. I was going to take Erik to the park today to see all the dogs (there was a dog day) and I'm just too tired to even think about it. I can't wait 'till this tired phase passes so that I can start exercising again!

Well, here's to happy, healthy, and fit pregnancies!!!

:beerchug: <--That's non-alcoholic, of course! : )

WOW!!! This is so exciting! I was actually on englangrover's site to congratulate her, and I read your post and almost fell out of my chair. So, I had to come rushing over here to tell you congrats also! That is very awesome.

I started my Biggest Losers Club "diet" today, so you definitely have to stay active on this forum and keep me motivated. Maybe some of your guys' pregnancy vibes will float my way, also.

My best friend is due with her 3rd any moment. It is just so exciting!

Congrats again!!! :hurray: :hurray:

I know what you mean about feeling different. I told my husband the that morning when I woke up that I just felt weird. I told him that my stomach and whole lower area of my body felt "weird". I couldn't explain it to him so I asked him to bring a prego test on his way home. He asked me if I really felt like I was and I told him that I really felt like I was. So I took the test and in less than 2 seconds the test was already showing a positive result. We were in shock for awhile and then we celebrated because this was a complete surprise. We had both decided we were done but God has other plans for us. I haven't been tired or sick or anything but I do know what you mean about feeling different. I am so excited for us. :hurray:

Cheers to being happy healthy and fit during our pregnancies. :)

Congrats! Congrats! Congrats!

Don't leave us! Stick around and keep giving us updates...plus they say it's pretty healthy to maintain some physical activity while pregnant.

:toetap05: Waiting for the cool preggo ticker.

THANKS! :D

Don't worry, I'll def. be sticking around. I need to be here more than ever! I really don't want my weight to get out of control. I'm shooting for 20 pounds (if my Dr. says that's okay and healthy for me and Baby), so hopefully I wont go over 230. That's at least less than where my highest was! We'll see how this goes. Well, I'll be praying and hoping and sending some and baby vibes your way. :)

Well, I think I am about a week behind you from what you said about your due date. We could very well have our babies the same day! I just can't get over that! This time around I'm less prepared. For Erik we were really trying and so I was always thinking about babies and pregnancy. I was always watching or reading pregnancy books and shows! This time, I'm like...wait. What do I do? haha! I know I will get in the mode, but it's just taking more time to sink in.
