Stacy- Where did you find those taco molds? Great idea with using them to make wheat taco shells!
And the fact that you share with us, is just one of the things that makes you the wonderful person that you are.
If, by any chance I ever end up in your part of the world, I'm looking you up... I'm going to give you a big hug, shake your hubby's hand, and tell him what a lucky guy he is!!!
Love the new pic....just beautiful.
I think either Target or Walmart. I'll try to find out for sure, cuz they were a gift. Everyone in my family has them...
I didn't even realize that The Biggest Loser had started this week. Darnit... cuz I really want to watch it this season. I have not been able to watch ANY T.V. at all (which of course is not really a bad thing...) So, I gotta add this to my Tivo list. That thing is overloaded, I tell you.
Kristi, you know, everyone here has said what a great person you are, and they are all right. I am sorry to hear about your childhood. It is a great healing process that you can open up and share with us. You are strong and deserve to continue on this journey because you need to feel great from the inside out.
One thing I personally think you need to do is make sure that you are taking enough time to do things JUST FOR YOU. Like you said, you became a "mom" in highschool and then went straight into being a wife and now a literal mom. You really need to give yourself that extra special treatment... we all deserve it, you just gotta make sure you are doing it. Go get a pedicure, a massage, a sugar scrub... or take that wonderful bubble bath that you keep threatening to take.
You are doing great! Thanks for all of your encouragement and your inspiring hard work and dedication.
I agree with Karl. I so want to hug you right now. Isn't it funny though that what doesn't kill us makes us stronger as people. Those old ghosts are hard to deal with at times, trust me I know, I have alot of crap, if you ever want to talk, I'm here for you girlie. I finally got to read this... Sorry a few days later, it's been a tough past few days for me. Well girlie, I hope you're doing good today. I'm going to finish up reading the rest from here, so maybe I'll be posting again in a minute.
Natasha
I told you I'd add more hehehe... I know, I'm a dork! I just want to tell you that you are a really strong, beautiful, and great person. I know I don't know you that well, but I can tell just by the things you have to say, and that smile is awesome, always lights up my day. You are always nice and have something positive to say. I can tell that we're going to have a great friendship because I already consider you a friend. Well, talk to you later
Natasha
(I get to be the red one in the middle with the balloon!!!)
Okay, but you get to be the Blue one here
Exercise: Twenty miles on mom-in-law's exercise bike. took me an hour and 9 minutes exactly going 17 to 32 mph. The back of my shirt was sopping wet when I was finished, which has never happend before! I pushed myself!
...and Karl, I tried to beat your twenty-eight miles, but I had to leave to put Erik to bed...I think I could have done it though. I was IN the ZONE!!
This weekend is going to be so refreshing since he'll be all mine on Friday and Saturday. Can't wait!!!
Hope everyone has a wonnnderful weekend and beautiful weather! It has been gorgeous down here in Louisiana!
Sounds like you are throwing down the gauntlet... I am going to have to push myself this weekend and try for 35 miles.
You make sure that guy takes care of you this weekend
Thank you to everyone reading this. I hope I don't offend anyone with my beliefs. I know that not everyone believes the same and I'm not trying to convince anyone about anything.
35 miles!! It's on!!
D
Hey there Kristi!
You're doing such an awesome job and thanks for sharing some of your background with us. I think we all have our stories that can be reflected on to why we gain weight. Food is all too often a source of comfort (I know this all too well).
Keep up the great work, and I'll try to check back more often when I have a chance to breathe from underneath my mounds of school work. lol
KRRRRISSSTTIIIII--SAAAANNNN
How you doing Mamacita?!? Lov'n the new pic.
Hey, no apologizing for talking about your beliefs, Lady.
Wanted to do it today, but felt like ca-ca. I'm going to see what I can do tomorrow...
After all, I can't get beat by a GIRL!!!!
Jus' kiddin' If you kick my butt, it's because you deserve to!
Nice job!! *hug*
Hey girrrrlllll... I am posting so late.. long day at work and lots of drama. Well, you are doing great, another 2 lbs huh? Wow, keep a goin, you can do this. Sounds like you and Karl have yourselves a challenge... Can I be the ref? I will get there soon. I did run the other night and it felt really good. I really felt like caca today too, so I didn't do crap except for what I had to at work. Thank you so much for your reply back, you are so sweet...I MEANT EVERY WORD!!! You are a very strong person because of what you went through, and I also believe that god puts things in our life to teach us, better us, and mold us into who we will be in the future... that's why I know you can do this... I think we all keep eachother strong here. It's so great!!! Okay, you can be the red one, I want to be the yellow one then... hehehe.. I like yellow for some reason.?. I'm so glad that you and your family got to have a good time together. That's what makes everything worth while, isn't it? Family is great!!! Well, enjoy your hubby this weekend, and don't do anything I wouldn't do (which isn't a whole lot hehe) Talk to you later...
