Cool, give us updates on how you like it.

BTW, no 35 miles for me this weekend, did about 17 on the mountain bike, but it will have to be another time for that challenge.

Well, 17 is a lot more than me this weekend. Great job! I barely did any exercise this weekend and on top of that today's food is baaad. New Orleans Saints are playing and my dad's having a party.... yeah.....

So this week I will be making up for it and will have to try to at least beat my own 20 miles. I'm ready to get out of these 200s forever!

Congrats on getting the wii fit! I've had mine for a few months and absolutely love it! I just wish I had more time to do it. :)

Well your Saints got edged out, but my Patriots were soundly walloped. Life without Brady is no picnic in NE

You WILL make it out of the 2's and you WILL stay out of them, because... well... you desrve it, that's why!!

I didn't have any heath food today and feel disgusting.

Early lunch @ in-laws--Roast and gravy, mashed potatoes with cheese, smothered okra, sweet peas, 3 small rolls. brownie. 2 glasses of milk. This is my favorite thing that my mom-in-law cooks and I went up for seconds. :banghead:

Dinner @ my dad's-- bbq hamburger (ate 3/4s of it) on wheat bun with mustard, ketchup, and mayo. handful baked french fries and seasoning. pomegranate and cranberry juice with lemon and lime slices.

no exercise today..

yeah, you should have heard the words come out of my dad's mouth when we had the chance to get back in the game with the feild goal....and then didn't. He actually picked up a blanket from the couch and was beating the sofa with it. You should have seen the look on my toddler's face. Whaaat is Pop doinnng??? Ah well. You win some, you lose some!

You should have seen my dh this weekend while we were camping. I am sure there were people thinking it was some anti-social geek! hahah
He was pretty much camped out in the car listening to the Cubbie game. Until that is someone (me:) ) mentioned that the next door camper had a TV with the game on.
I am pretty sure that the entire campground knew exactly when the Cubbies won that game! LOL
Congrats on the 2 pounds girl.
If I am not careful your gonna pass me right by. I better get my game face back on.
Guess what? This is soooo cool.
At my church we go on Mission trips every 3rd year. This next summer we were suppose to go to Juarez, Mexico to build 3 houses. But due to the price of airfare it got cancelled. So guess where we are headed instead????????????
You guessed it

NEW ORLEANS!!!!

Would it not be soooooo cool to catch up with each other while I am down there? If I remember you don't live to far away from there right?

Thanks! And with all the workouts you've been doing I don't see myself passing you up........for now anyway..mmmwhahaha! ;)

That's really cool about coming to New Orleans!!! I live about 2 to 2.5 hours away. I went earlier this summer and it just wasn't the New Orleans that I remembered growing up. My dad is from there and so I had family there growing up and would go every summer. It was sooo vacant when we went recently. The mall had like 2 people in it. And I think they were janitors. It was really sad. Sorry to be such a downer about it! haha! It just makes me kinda sad to see how much the hurricane devistated it. I know that it will be a good time for you though! I love mission trips. Well, I've only been on one, but I loved it! It was in the inner city in Atlanta,Ga. Definitely a life changing experience for me. When the time gets closer remind me again! Won't it be fun that we'll be close to (or at!) our goals by then!?!

Blah.

Just some thoughts...

I've been overdoing it the past couple of days. I haven't been over-eating, which is good, but I feel kind of weighed down with all the red meat I've been eating. It's not the worst thing I could be doing, but I just don't feel right. I think it's because I got used to eating red meat maybe once a week and the past two days I have eaten it at every meal. The main reason is because I ate at 3 different people's houses and that's what they had and so that's what I ate. I went to a friend's house tonight for a bible study. Well, it was mostly a get together with friends and all of our kids. Us women were tending to the kids most of the time and hanging out, while the husbands were doing all the bible-studying (mine couldn't make it b/c of his sched.) I kind of popped in and out a few times. I think I'm going to go every week b/c I really enjoyed it.

Anway, here's my no-health-food-menu for today.

Early lunch: I ate the chicken out of a lean cusine (everything else was too salty and nasty.) Then I had a bowl of leftover black bean chilli and fritos and some bites of my son's mac and cheese.... diet green tea with a splash of spiced apple cider.

Dinner: 1 small soft taco and 1 hard taco. (Salsa, lettuce, tomatoes, avacado, cheese, sour cream, meat.) I ate mostly lettuce and tomatoes and a little spoonful of the rest. 2 glasses of white grape juice. A bite of brownie. 1 cup of hot spiced tea with milk and honey.

No exercise. :(

LOL, I love how you put the bad stuff in the little tiny font!!!

Great pic by the way, you're so damn cute with all the smiles!

BTW, I'm going to get on your case here... how much time have you spent on the bike lately? Well... hmmm... I thought you and I were going to challenge each other?

Just kidding! talk to ya soon!

Thank you! I need someone to get on my case!! I'm starting to feel lazy and it's bugging me. In fact I'm going to go do some crunches right now. And tomorrow....I'm going for 25 miles! And that's that!!!

Kristi, how many miles did I ride on the bike today? Glad I asked! 32 miles!! ahhhh! The last 5 miles I was singing, "I'm a maniac..maniac on the floooorr and I'm biking like I nnnnever biked beffforre!" My parents-in-law thought I lost my mind! lol! It took me 97 minutes and 33 seconds. There are a couple of reasons that I pushed myself tonight.

For one, I am having my wisdom teeth pulled at noon tomorrow and will be under orders to not exercise for a couple of days.

Two, I was feeling like a blob from not doing much the last couple of days.

And three, I wanted to beat Karl's 28 miles. Mwhahaha!

I watched the second half of "The Biggest Loser" at my in-laws and I'm getting ready to watch the first half that I have recorded. I did NOT want either team that got below the yellow line to go. I was sooo sad to see the grey team go. They showed their "now" pictures and a little video of them...and I have to say...the son is looking mighty :flame: Very impressive!

Well eating was alright today. Not great, but not bad.

B: whole wheat pita, light laughing cow swiss, nectarine, 1/2 c. 1% milk

S: spoon of natural peanut butter, water

L: went to lunch with my mom at a sandwich place. I ate half of a grilled turkey roll-up with applebutter, mushrooms, onions, bacon:)piggy:), honey mustard dip. Unsweetend tea with lemon slices, half a small bag of wholegrain sunchips.

D: At my in-laws...leftovers from Sunday: Roast, mashed potatoes, peas, piece of bread and butter. 2 % milk.

I ate dinner before 5, so when I got home I was famished after the bike ride. I ate the other half of my sandwich from lunch, a couple sunchips, a plum, and a chunk of havarti cheese...oh and a kashi granola bar..oink oink.

I'm not overly full, so I don't feel too bad about it...especially because for about a week I will not be chewing anything b/c of my dental surgery. I can't eat before 7 a.m. tomorrow and I don't plan on getting up before 7 just to eat. So this means that I will only have dinner tomorrow which will most likely be a protein shake from the smoothie place by my house.

I might not be getting on for awhile. It depends on how I'm feeling. My cousin told me today that she slept for 3 days straight after she had hers removed. My sister-in-law told me that she felt completely fine after two days... So I guess it just depends on the person. Here goes nothing.....

Oh man... I got beat by a GIRL!!!

You Rock, Kristi!!! I guess I'll have to up the ante a bit now and kick your butt!!

Very cool:coolgleamA: You must be pretty proud of yourself! You are doing great.

Glad the surgery day has finally arrived and you can get past that. It will be good to get that out of the way and move on.

Thanks a bunch for the motivation and for the challenge. I would have stopped at 3 miles, had I not been trying to beat you!!!!

I'm glad about getting it overwith too! I'm tired of agonizing about this!
