Last week I wasn't so sure I could meet the challenge this month without going to extremes; figured I'd just do my best and try even harder next month. But looks like I may just achieve the June goal afterall :)

I am hoping to start going to a local gym this week.... if I can talk myself into taking this fat @$$ in there (sure hate the "look at the whale out of water" look that some people give).
Probably not many times a week since hubby has a weird work schedule, but I figure even once/week will be better than just doing exercise here at home (and the water exercises I've been doing).

Congrats everyone! Looks like all (or most) will be meeting or exceeding their goal for June :hurray:

Weekly Tip: I've just started weight loss, but what gets me off a plateau is just of few days of the homeTV exercise programs. Plus to stop my cravings (for meaty fatty foods) I eat either a teaspoon of really fatty cheese or some tofu.

My weight loss is slowing down so much, and I'm kind of bummed out about this. Any advice for getting out of a plateau?

Hey Heather! Congrats! It looks like you'll hit your June weight loss goal. =) I just shake things up a bit when I hit a plateau. For a few days I don't exercise, and eat a bit less...then I go back to exercise (but different exercise, so yoga or aerobics instead of running) and eat normal again.

Also...Good JOB everyone! You all are my daily inspiration. <3

So I don't think I'm going to make my June goal, but I'm OK with that. I've started to learn and feel what losing weight is like and what my pace can be if I eat the way I've been eating. I have been rigorously exercising and will officially update my workout with my trainer tomorrow! I'm so excited!!! I've been working out long enough to revamp my program!! I've also noticed that I've been feeling differently when I'm at the gym. I definitely feel more able to do the exercises, and have upped the difficulty on literally every machine that I've been using. And I'm feeling a lot more energetic. So, just gotta keep it up! Even if I lose 5lbs this month, if I keep going at that rate, I'll have lost 50lbs in less than a year. That's excellent!

Well, I think I've hit my June weight loss goal a week early! I weighed myself this morning as usual (which gave me 157.1) but then I also weighed myself just now and it came up with 156.8. But I just got in late, didn't eat much for supper and am STARVED and thirsty right now. After I eat and get something to drink, I'm sure I'll be back up in 157 somewhere.

I'm so thrilled to be a weight that I haven't been in over a decade! All you amazing people are such an inspiration to me!

I have been hovering between 171-172 since the day after I weighed in, so maybe 170 is possible for the end of the month.

Have to post quick before work. Not what I was hoping number wise, but I feel like I have lost more then that. Tried a pair of pants on Sunday I hadn't worn since high school, so maybe some of that is water weight...

Holy Moley! 17.5 pounds in a month, that's like - whao! Just be careful, hon. All the leading medical advice suggests losing up to 2 pounds a week. I think you're more than doubling that. It's great that you're losing though, congratulations~! :D

Another good week, didn't feel like the best week based on eating, I made ribs this week, and had clubhouse sandwiches with bacon on Friday, but I ate in moderation and got all of my exercise in. I'm tracking my food with the Loseit Ipod app and it has been really helpful to keep me under my calorie budgets.
 
I'm traveling to my hometown on July 4 and will be at a high school reunion-type event on July 17. I'd like to feel a bit better about myself by then and have more confidence.....

June 21: 197.6- Lost -1.2 lbs this week. That puts me at a -6.1 loss for the months so far. That means that my 8 lb goal is reachable by the end of the month! This is going way better than the May challenge did for me! Yay!
June 27: 194 3.6 lbs are gone this week!! SO thrilling! And that puts me at 1.7 lbs below my end of the month goal!
It would be fun if I'd lose another .3 lbs by Wednesday. That would put me at a 10 pound loss for the month! I like nice, round numbers like that!

I am going to be SO ready for this reunion (and the rest of my life!!)

YES! I'm back I think! Thats a 3.1 weight loss this week :D I exceeded my goal and i'm so happy I was able to break this plateau! You all did wonderful guys! You all helped me stay motivated despite small number changes.
