Such a great idea! Since June 1st I lost 13.2 lbs and now I slowed down but I would love to participate. Love writing postcards! :)

So far so good. I'm on plan for eating and exercise. Next Wednesday will tell the tale for sure, though! :)
 
GREAT! I think..;) ZOMG a THUNDER STORM!!! Don't they say don't keep things plugged in in a thunder/lightening storm? :D uh oh....maybe I'll be shocked into losing some more weight!!! Heehee :jump: How are you doing Korrie? :)
 
I'm doing good, thanks! Not GREAT, but pretty good. My goal is going to be finishing this thing...its been years since i finished a challenge!

I'm doing good as far as eating but I tried to "race" my mom and hubby yesterday on the treadmill and see who could finish the fastest. I won with 14:14 but now my left leg between my calf and ankle is in a ton of pain. I'm taking it easy today but tomorrow I'm back to the gym to see if I can get past this pain. I've also been doing a lot of research today since I'm kinda out of commission at the moment. Hopefully all the new info will help me this month.

Uh Oh Should I hold my tongue, erm my finger's yea yea...haha I always notice at the beginning of challenges the "big talkers" are usually the "Bye Bye walker's" ;) :p
 
Maybe I should get my post card ready. I think I gained like 10lbs over the weekend. Damn 4th of July parties. I just cant say no to BBQ and beer. :smash:
 
grrr - up 2 pounds after the weekend

This is when I usually give up - working on regrouping cuz I've really got to be going in the other direction. :(
 
chialchemy, see how you do on Wed. I ALWAYS go up at least 1.5 lbs every single weekend, even if I eat relatively good. Dont know what it is about weekends.. Luckily I usually lose the extra pounds by Wed. So the way to track if you're losing weight is to focus on NEW LOWS, not on day to day fluctuations--which are totally normal. So if each week you are hitting a new low, it doesn't matter that you're going up and down during the week. If you haven't hit a new low in a week or two, that's when you start to figure out where the problem lies. Chin up and keep at it!

Im not american but i had a bit of an outta control 3 days...beer and carbs, no exerices and no water...Im up 3 lbs, LOL

Look guys..no dropping out!! we all had a rough weekend...we still have a like 3 full wks to go..still looking to loose weight with that! Stick with it !!! you'll be proud of yourself!!

I wonder if she's got a Canadian accent, "eh"?! hehe

Yeah, its hard to go to a party/BBQ and not have a frank and some drinks. It may be easier to stick with it if you're just getting started on dieting, but those of us watching our weight over months and years, ya need a little break here and there to enjoy..
