Jaclyn's diary

Thanks Jenn, my dinner was pretty good. I enjoyed it and I did a good job cooking it. My best friend's boyfriend ate my veggie sautee and my mashed cauliflower too and he really liked it. And yes, I'm really lucky to have that gym. It's at my school and it's huge and free (technically not free, they include it in my tuition, but it feels free.) And since it got ruined in the hurricanes they had to redo it, so there's all new machines with personal flat screen tvs on them and all kinds of stuff. There's even a rock climbing wall-I've never used it, but it looks cool. Anyway, snacks...

Snack:
Mango

Dessert:
WW Cookie Ice Cream Bar

So, things are going pretty well. :)

Breakfast:
Egg Beaters (70)
2 slices Veggie Bacon (70)
Orange Juice (30)

Hey Meshellibel, you should try the Morningstar Veggie Bacon. It's made with vegetable protein and it's meat-free. It's really good and it's much better for you than real bacon. And it is good, it really is. My roommate and her boyfriend are both big meat eaters and they like it and eat it all the time. Give it a whirl!

Snack:
Special K Bar (90)

Lunch:
Lean Cuisine Ravioli in Chunky Tomato Sauce (250)
Peach (40)
Diet Cherry Coke

So, today is allegedly "President's Day" in the US. What a load of crap. I got to work and no one was here. Apparently my boss and full time people all have the day off. But I didn't and I won't get holiday pay. It's nice to have a lazy day at work (no boss means no real work) but I think that if it counts for a holiday then a lot of other days need to be counted too (like Martin Luther King Day.)

Thanks Rosered!

I did 30 minutes on the gazelle after work, but no weights because my arms and back are really sore. Figured I better not overdo it. Hopefully tomorrow I can do some reps.

Dinner:
Tofu Veggie Sautee-broccoli, tomato, mushrooms, and grilled tofu quick-sauteed in a tbsp of olive oil and soy sauce. (250?)
Orange (80)

My dinner was good. I love coming up with new ways to make healthy tasty meals.

Breakfast:
Egg Beaters (60)
2 slices Veggie Bacon (70)
Glass of Orange Juice (50)

Lunch:
Veggie Salami Sandwich with two pickle slices (200)
Fruit Salad with a peach, blueberries, and strawberries (60)
Diet Cherry Coke

Yes Rosered, it was delightful!

So after my classes I went to the gym with a girl I work with. We had a good workout and a good time. Having someone with me made the time go by faster. We did 20 minutes on the gazelle, then a bunch of free weight lifting, the thigh reducer, and then some ab workouts with an exercise ball (she knows all kinds of good stuff) and then we did 20 minutes on the exercise bikes. It was a mighty sweaty workout.

Dinner:
Lean Cuisine Cheese Pizza (330)
Big salad with romaine, carrots, cucumbers, tomato, and olive oil and vinegar (100)

Workouts are definately better with a buddy. I used to go to curves with my mom and a freind of mine, but they gave up, and left me alone, and I gave up and here I am now. Wish I had someone that lived close to buddy up with, always makes it more enjoyable and quicker!

My workout buddy is my 3 year old daughter. :p It's fun although someimes she tries to get too close to the tv and it gets kinda hard to exercise. But she loves it and we get great laughs too.

Aww, that's cute Meshellibel! And it's true guys, the time went by so fast since I had someone to talk to. So hopefully she and I will be able to get together more often to work out.

Lunch:
Salad with lettuce, tomato, carrots, and oil and vinegar (100)
1/2 Veggie Salami Sandwich with mustard (150)

Stuck at work until midnight. What a crock.

Snack:
Apple (80)
