It'll starting going up from hereon for the next few weeks, Yukio, so look forward to it. Whilst it's never absolutely 100% "easy" doing a major lifestyle change, you can look forward to an improving mood, and you're body adjusting to the lower amount of food and actually starting to benefit from it. The clothes start feeling a little loose too, and it's a real mental boost.
But - just now while you remember, mark on a calendar next time you KNOW your mood will start deteriorating before the next EOM is due. If you KNOW that from a certain date in June or July your mind is going to start the tricks again, the cravings will build up again etc, you can be prepared and maybe have a few tricks up your sleeve. One of my earlier ones was eating a few less crackers during the month on the "good days" (say 4 a day instead of 5) so that once that week came, I could add in the 5th and feel like I was spoiling myself. Or - plan a bath or something totally relaxing during that week, and make sure there are no big "plans" or projects happening that week either. Make sure your husband knows that week you need extra support, and maybe plan to go out somewhere nice or relaxing.
Hoping the next few days gradually start the improve and you'll really start to feel the benefits of the healthier diet. Give yourself positive feedback everyday - what we say to ourselves as we go along is extremely important.
