don't give up...sounds like she might be interested but is concerned regarding the kids. tell her you're not freaked out by it (you're not right?), don't talk to her about your online poker games EVER again unless you are making a buttload of money from it and she likes money, and just keep playing it cool. persistence is the key.

ff, you are the man. You need to write a book about this stuff. You've got it all together and then some.

Unfortunately, it's so easy to give advice when you're not emotionally invested. Once that happens, it's hard to gain back that perspective :D

RWS, I think you did just fine :) I would have been impressed, not that that means anything. I really don't like players. They're a turn off. I like guys that are honest and real and not so smooth and polished ;)
 
One thing I'm not sure of with these conversations on here; all you guys in American seem to talk about going to school but then I find out you're about 25. Do you call University 'school' in the US? Or are you all retarded and stay in high school 'till you're 35 like the Fonz?

This girl has kids and you meet her at school? In the UK you leave school at 16 or 18

It`s sad but they see it as an easy way out,i know a few people who are Grandparents and are a couple of years younger than me WTF.

I give it to you for trying with the kiss though..Just because no kiss though doesnt mean theyre not interested. Iv been rejected with kisses, but then iv ended up shagging (f**king) the girl sometime later. I think some dont like to rush. Weirddddd species are female :D

Anyway, just know, that while putting yourself out there can work great, it does sometimes give the woman too much power. So be a bit careful.

Yes...school = high school, middle school, grade school, primary school, college, graduate programs, ect. just our simple way of saying "i'm still sitting in a classroom listening to lectures and doing homework at night" :)

I've already gotten a degree in finance but am going to a college to earn more credits to prepare for the CPA exam.

Yeah, I talked to her on the phone the other day again... too busy to discuss, but I am leaving it in her hands at this point. I told her to give ME a call if she wants to do something because I am always asking her. She agreed.
 
My buddy was/is in the same situation as you. Would get girls numbers, they'de wanna hang out, then nothing. Wierd.

I got this one girls number (a good friend from the past), and we decided to hang out one weekend, but she never called me on that Saturday (but we talked a couple days before). I never called her either.

She talked to me the other night telling me she was up at the pool hall. I called her telling her I was going up there, but it was the night I hurt my toe, and it was already midnight. Got gas, then had second thoughts then texted with a cancel. She was cool with it.

My point? After getting out of a 6 year relationship, and only being 26, I realized I just wasted my "fun years" on one girl. Got a great son out of it all, but still sucks. I've realized that yeah having another person there is nice, but it's not a necessity. Took me a couple weeks to get used to that notion. But fact is, if a girl wants me to chase her, she'll find out after a few steps, she'll be running all by herself.

Life is too short to pour energy into games. I don't believe in destiny or any of that nonsense, but I do believe that sh!t just happens. Just let it happen in time, and you'll find out you'll probably be happier in the end because you didn't pour a bunch into it forcing it to happen.

I guess it was the fact that I acted like I no longer cared that drew her in, girls are weird like that...

I started reading that book "The Game" by the way Tony... lol. That book is hilarious, but I think I can take the key points and use them. Basically just talking to chicks... ha
 
The last time I chased after a girl and really tried, I was 11. Even though I entertain thoughts of doing so, I've since believed that women totally aren't worth wasting great effort on. Girls have never been a priority, and consequently, I have a ****ty lovelife.
