Here's to a good weekend and a good weigh-in for EVERYBODY tomorrow!!! :):jump::jump::jump:

Make sure to update your points Caspers! And hope everyone has a good weigh-in tomorrow.

Did you see next weeks challenge? no weigh-ins for a whole week (or at least 6 days!)

Thank you for the birthday wishes TEAM!!! I really appreciate it!!!
I just proved one of my believes wrong. I was sure I can not eat healthy eating out. Well, we went for a walk today and ended up in Panera Bread for lunch. I was really eyeing the bread-bowl soups, man those looked sooo yummy.!! But then reason won with me and I chose low fat vegetarian vegetable soup, 1/2 salad with no dressing, and fruit cup it all came to like 300 calories!!! Hubby was more than impressed!! YAY. Also got my exercise in, since I had a rest day last Sat already. SOO kept on track today. Tomorrow is another day: My MIL is planning a party for me, main theme is pizza and ice-cream cake. I just eat before I go there.
OK, Now for this weeks bonus: team I really count all of you to keep me in track on that one. I weigh myself every day, more than once for that matter :D. I don't read into the individual numbers too much, it is just a habit... I am afraid it will require all the willpower i got not to jump on that scale every day!! That is like the first thing I do every morning!!! I will have withdrawal symptoms... LOL

ARE YOU AS EXITED ABOUT TOMORROW'S RESULTS AS I AM. I think our team is going strong, let's finish in first place this week!!!!! GO CASPERS!!!
TELL YOU WHAT : If I can do it, anybody can!!!
Ok my quote for the day:

"Success is not the result of spontaneous combustion, you must set yourself on fire!

GIRLS, KEEP GOING STRONG AND KEEP ON DREAMING, ONE DAY YOU WAKE UP AND YOU REALIZE: IT BECAME A REALITY!!!!!!
I never thought I would get here, but I did dream about it, and now I am here!!!!!

I dont think this weeks scale challenge will be difficult for me. It would have been months ago, but I learned my lesson from daily scale readings. Whenever it did not show a loss, a very low loss or a gain, it inevitably led to a bad frame of mind, and eventual "fall off the wagon". I fell into that trap a few days ago, but found my way out before disaster LOL.

Haj, and any other daily scalers ;), I would suggest putting the scale away - in a closet, under the bed, out of sight- to help the temptation factor. Also, think of how it will feel when you step on that scale and see one large number, instead of the many small numbers - I mean they all add up to the same thing in the end= SUCCESS!
As always, I'll be here to encourage and support ya's!

Happy Birthday Hajini! I hope you treat yourself to something very special today :)

I work at a hospital. The reason why I don't have time to take breaks is because when my patients need me, I truly can't leave. When my coworkers are really busy, I have no choice but to do everything on my own. It was a nightmarish day, but I made it through :)

This week's challenge is going to be super tough on me. I keep a weight diary. So I weigh myself first thing in the morning. It makes me so sad not to update it :( I think I'll go into withdraws!

Good job to everyone that worked so hard to get this far :) Keep up the good work

HI Team Caspers!!!
Victory to report on my end!!! I am 156.4 lbs, down 1.6 from last week. I am extremely happy with these results!!!! All the way till Thurs, my weight did not budge, and all of a sudden like overnight it just fell off!! Go figure that!! I was worried about today's number as signs of TOM are approaching, but I measured the same as yesterday.
Good luck Caspers,
Hajni

Congrats Hajini for your weight loss :)

I'm down 1.6 pounds from my beginning weight of the challenge :jump:

I hope everyone else gets good results too!

AH . . all I can say is . . WOW!
So I sneaked a peak on the scale earlier this week, and it showed a gain of less than a pound. Today it shows a loss of over a pound.

This has taught me 2 things:
-its better NOT to step on scale other than ONCE a week, as weight will fluctuate
-I should not hold the reading on the scale as an indicator of success any higher than how my clothes fit, how my energy level is, my overall mood, etc.

Too many times in the past I let what the scale says, make or break my determination and focus- NO MORE! I have been liberated! :rotflmao:

NO worries Sweatpea- its still not a gain, and all the good eating habits and exercise are still progress- the scale will catch up! (or down?

Make sure to update your points Caspers! And hope everyone has a good weigh-in tomorrow.

OMG!!! I haven't read Niapage's challenge post yet but if that is what it really is I am so lost this week!!!
I check everyday all day long. I know, I know, I shouldn't but it is like my wubbie. Someone's gonna have to hide the darn thing from me!!! hahaha :D

Congrats Hajini for your weight loss :)

For me, it doesn't discourage me at all but actually helps to keep me in check. In the past when I have tried the weigh less often thing, that is usually when I do fail. Because I am then not so aware of the ups. Not until it has been like a week and then I get discouraged.
You said it so true. It is going to be hard for me. I would give the scale to hubby to hold knowing he won't tell me where it is, but I am afraid he won't give it back!!! :p
He thinks right now that his "helpful" critism is just that, helpful (he also was being all like don't weigh everyday people who do fail and you will eventually fail because of this) but it's not. More like discouraging.
So I will most likely give it to MIL knowing that she will at least give it back when the challenge is over.

OK TEAMS CASPERS!

Don't forget to mark down on your original "copy/paste" thread, your exercise for the week with a + and the posting challenge with * for each day completed, as well as your weigh in for today!

Good Luck folks! Lets keep chuggin along!

Watching the scale for me everyday helps to keep me on track. But I understand why some people shouldn't look at the scale everyday - especially if it discourages you to see a slight gain.

For me it is just to keep me in check. When I don't look at the scale, I have gone way off the deep end...but I won't this week - I promise!

FINALLY-I get to check in. Had 3 soccer games to go to today. Then dinner...ugh my weekends are never a time to relax. SO..I got on the scale this morning..got off..rubbed my eyes..got on the scale...is it? YES IT IS! I lost 2.4 pounds. I feel good. But this challenge will be tough. I am a daily scale hopper. I need to see it! I will have to lock it up somewhere. Congrats on everyones losses. Have a great weekend.
Cathy

Congrats Yarmiah, Tenshiblue, Cathy, Bella, Crunkchipmunk, DanielleMarie and anybody else maintaining (that takes work too)!!!
Off to a good week I see!!!
One of my other surprises for the day: I finally was able to wear my wedding ring again!! I was not able to wear it since 2004 when I got pregnant with my daughter. I tried about 3 weeks ago, and it was still not going on... but today..... I am happy to report it fits and it comes off without much struggle.!!! YAY!! I am getting my body back!!!
Have a strong week all!! I think we are going to rock this challenge!!!
