Hajni, Thanks for totaling that all up for us!

I am so sorry I am being a horrible teammate =(
I DID update though! yay and I lost about 2.2. pounds this week! =)
I will try to give a better update but I am writing yet ANOTHER paper for school now.
Hope everybody else did great this week, and I hope to be around more this week between work and school!

sat was stressful with finding my kitty so i did not have time for exercising unless you can consider exercising running around the neighborhood shaking a treat bad calling "murphy MURPHY" so sorry guys I also had a mcdonalds milk shake that day :O i know bad bad .

Today was better I felt like I kinda bindge on healthy food though which is kinda bad but not horrible.

But I got my walk in tonight and Im going to the gym tomorrow. So Im back on right now as of this min. im back on track.

I am here!!!
Sorry that I didn't get my stuff recorded until just a few minutes ago. :(
Had to work on Friday and didn't roll in 'til 3:30am. Turned around and got up at 7am to go with the ladies from church on an all day tour of a historical site. Didnt get home until nearly 10pm and turned around and got up early for church today. Laid down to take a nap after church and then headed back out there again.
I did weigh myself in the morning on Saturday just didn't have the time to record it. It was exactly where I was the previous Saturday. No gain~no loss. It doesn't surprise me.
Of course I was in the 3rd day of "tom" so there is no telling how accurate it really was. Not even .2 up or down. Just proved to me that I really use my scale more as a tool to keep track of where my eating lies. And not as a measure of success.
Now that I can get back to the way I do things it should be back to normal.
Eating no junk food will be a no-brainer for me. I gave up pop (all types) in March and don't even crave it anymore.
Except for the 100 cal packs I don't eat any of that stuff.
Do have a ? for anyone willing to answer. I don't know that I am totaling up my points correctly. The * is for the daily bonus correct? And the + is for exercise right? And you get 2pts for lossing and you lose 2 points for gaining correct? If I have that all right I think I still am not adding them up right. Could someone be so kind to check my page for me and let me know if I am adding things up right.
Thanks guys. I really am looking forward to pushing myself hard this week.
To all who lost WAY TO GO!!!

Good morning everyone!

Danielle, wtg on the loss of 2 lbs!

Laura, well we all have those days and it's understandable - at least you don't do that everyday.

Bell, Guess that scale is a good tool then! I wish you lots of pounds lost this week.

Tammy, thanks for all you're doing with the challenge!

..............

I'm glad I'm not weighing in today, it looks like I'm up, but I know that TOM is coming any day now. And I know I didn't eat enough calories yesterday. But in the evening I had some summer sausage - that was high in sodium, so that's probably what's what with the scale this morning.

Have a good one --- and remember no eating junk!

A little humor quote for the day :

Hi Teammates...I am finally able to sit down at the computer after a long weekend. I need to look at the bonus more closely. Because I was running around on Saturday I went out to eat, but did good. I did however order a diet pop and half through drinking it I realized what I was doing. Got my exercise in on Sunday and This morning, but Saturdays are a little tougher.

Congratulations to everyone who lost and maintained. And if you gained it is OK, just do what you need to do this week. Our points look great. Let's keep it up!

Cathy

Whoo... Congrats Danielle for the loss!!
Bella, you had a birthday last week so no gain/no loss is a positive thing!!!!
Tammy: I must have counted something wrong, I came up with 335 with all the updated info.

Caspers, I got my exercise in this morning, 35 min running on the treadmill. My HRM is messing with me, I had to take it apart and I think it needs new batteries. I better get it soon, I am lost without the thing!!! :) Tonight is boot-camp again. In our local gym (women only) the instructor just started a new class : "Stiff man yoga" for the men in our life who does not exercise. We were rolling around laughing when she told us that. Now I am trying to convince DH to go and we are all planning to take peeks through the window at the class. It is going to be a blast!!!
Ok, here is to a new and successful week!!! Let's all rock!!

Hajni

I'm sitting here sweating . . just got off the NT after upping the minutes from 30 to 35 minutes. I had also already gotten in one walk to school and back. I WILL see a loss this week, damnit!
I'm also rethinking my eating- I get plenty of veggies but need to get in at least one fruit each day. In addition, I will try to cut back the points I use in the morning and accurately count points usuing measuring spoons and a scale.

Good Morning Fellow Caspers!!
My required 30 min (40 to be exact) exercise is already done for the day. I am staying away from junk food, my DH's birthday is this weekend but I will be strong and stay away from the ice-cream cake. I have to get the extra 10 points this week!!!
Forgot to bring my water bottle to work, now I have to fill up my 10 oz cup in every 20 min.
I can't believe it is the End of September this week!! This is crazy how time flies we are almost half-way in our challenge.
Hope everybody is having a great Tuesday!!
Hajni

Motivational quote for the day:

Hajni, if you have cake and ice cream this weekend, it will be a new challenge. ;)

Just thought I'd help out there....:D

Just thought I'd drop by. Watching the Biggest Loser atm, after having my dessert of a sugar free choc pudding with lite cool whip.

Hope everyone had a great day and see yas tomorrow!

UGH! TOM is here and I am ravenous(sp?). For about 2 days during this time I am not satisfied with anything. I need something sweet. I learned that if I fight it I will want it more and then will end up eating more. So I caved and had a oatmeal creme pie. It has a 170 calories and it is not a healthy snack, but I feel good now. So, sorry gals(and guys) I just lost my 10 extra points.:(
Whatever comes at me next week I will be ready.
Cathy

Good Morning Caspers.
I am still going strong as far as this week's challenge goes!!! And as SweatPea pointed out to me if I "cheat" on DH's birthday which is Sunday it will be next week's challenge!!! LOL
I was super tired this morning but I pushed myself again to do my morning walk. It was not a run, it was a walk on 2 % incline and about 3.9 mi/hr. I have to get new music on my mp3 player it is getting boring.

Cathy: sorry about your TOM visit and the cravings that came with it. And don't sweat the extra points, you still did pretty good with a 170 cal thing considering you could have done way worse.. (when I do cheat, I cheat big, over 500 cal ). I don't experience the sweet tooth thing during TOM but I have full blown PMS for about 5 days prior. DH is ready to move out every time that happens LOL

Yarmiah: I love those sugar free puddings!! They are totally sweet and satisfy me. And I use ff whip cream with it sometimes also. MMM just thinking about it.. LOL

Have a great day Caspers, losing vibes I am sending your way!!
Hajni

What is it with this group and TOM coming this week? Ugh! I'm so there too!

My sweet tooth does kick in, but I kept it to a blue bunny fudge bar that was 100 cals. That should be ok, right?

I didn't get any exercise in yesterday...it was such a blah day for me. I know I need to go and do something today, but right now I just don't feel like it (the best time to do it right?)

Like I said, Ugh!

Yea, I wish I had a SF pudding with some cool whip or a 100 cal fudge bar...that would have nipped my cravings in the butt. All I had in the pantry was those creme pies for the kids and usually I have no problem keeping away from them, but those days I am unstoppable. I feel better today so I hope no cravings come looking for me, and if they do find me I will be ready for them:boxing:.

I am with you Hajni...my husband is ready to get rid of me about a week prior too. I get so emotional and easily frustrated:flame:. I can hardly live with myself. The poor guy.

I know just what you mean. I don't stock to bad of goodies for my kids. Just granola bars. I guess I'm a mean mom. ;)

I'm pretty lucky that my kids are ok with the lower cal/ healthy variety snacks. They like (and the older one PREFERS) baked chips, low fat granola bars, rice cakes, fruit, etc. My hubby will eat that stuff too, but makes me crazy cuz he eats 3x the amount of the lower cal versions, and as you know the lower cal usually is more expensive, and results in there be little left for ME!!! :rotflmao: The one treat that they like to have the full fat variety is regular ice cream, which I allow them to have for dessert a few times a week.

I watched the BIGGEST LOSER last night. I can't beleive that one lady ate 1900 calories in 4 minutes!! I dont think I consume that in one day. It kinda grossed me out, but was happy that she was able to burn that off + some to have a loss of 5 lbs.
