Hey there- if you're feeling low on energy don't push yourself too hard with the exercise. Sometimes we really need to stop and listen to what our bodies are telling us!

I hope that your feeling well rested and okay. You may just want to try walking and take a water bottle with you for the exercise. I do hope your feeling better and humidity is a draining environmental factor. It's humid as heck outside right now where I live and I am greatful for the AC. HUGS your doing just fine! :eek:
 
Hello, thanks for dropping by. I got a little more rest last night, but my legs are really sore. I think all the exercise is paying off. My pants are looser today. :)

I think I might skip walking today and workout inside. probably just limit to one work out. I need to rest to regain energy. I hope everyone else is having a great day.

I'm just getting caught up with your journal. It sounds like you are doing really great!

I deal with being constantly tire (sleep apnea) so I know how that can feel.

How many hours a night do you normally get of sleep????

May you are tired a lot because your blood sugar is too low????

I sleep about 4-5 hours each night. I have trouble falling as sleep. Sometimes I go to sleep at 3 am and wake up by 6 am to go to work. I feel tired all day. I think it has to do with my thyroids. I have not had them check sicne January, so I am going to make some time to go get them check.

I hope that you can get into a doc's office soon. Maybe there is something that can help with the sleeping because I know I would not be able to function with that little of sleep.

Good evening,

Today I did good. I regain some energy. I took a green tea pill that someone on this forum recommended. It gave me more energy. I have been taking them for about 3 weeks now. It is finally working.

Food for today:

whole wheat bread, banana, coffee

yogurt

grilled chicken wrap & some wheat thins
1 coke zero

left over vegetable soup from last night.

100 oz of H2O

Exercise

2 mile walk at lunch time
2 mile jog after work
20 min abs
15 min bike riding

I tend to get about 4 hours of sleep a night, at most... Ithink after a while you get used to it - but long term it's definitely not good. .Ihope you get some relief from it soon...

Turkey wrap & chips, H2O
1 banana
Soup and bread, H2O
1 98% FF ice cream sandwich. It has been so long since I had ice cream. I settled for a low fat.

Lots of H2O

Exercise
Skip the lunch walk. It was too hot and my legs were sore, so I went shoe shopping instead :p .
2 miles evening walk, 20 min abs, 20 min weights.

Bread - bad
I'm sorry to sound like a nagging mother...;) but you can probably compensate the bread and bagel for something else. I'm not sure because I was addicted to bagels and bread. I love bread. I am probably better at giving the advise then me following them for myself. LOL. So with me saying this to you Gothika, I will definately try to bannish those things out of my life too. Thanks so much for you letting me let you know that.:confused: I didn't get that either...LOL. Have a great weekend.
 
I have a bagel for breakfast every day! It's one of my only souces for grain product.

A bagel isn't that bad if you pick the right one. I have a 12 grain (100% whole grain) bagel. For the whole thing it's 320 calories or 160 calories for half. I don't really like bread type things but I think it is necessary for a complete and healthy diet. (I go by the four food groups.:) )

BTW, you are doing super great and I hope you had a great day!
 
Thanks Kallie, I have a whole wheat bagel or bread and not every day.

Jodee- I probably should stop having it and I would loose weight faster and I know is not good for me, but if I cut so much off my diet and loose the weight fast, I am going to gain it right back and more.

I went through that when I did the Atkins diet. I lost weight fast, 2-3 months I went from size 14 to 6. At that time I was trying to fit into a dress. i was maid of honor for my sister's wedding, but as soon as the wedding was over I gained all the weight back and more.

Oh, isn't it frustrating to shed the same weight more then once!

You're doing the right thing taking it slow and easy!

Hello! I am feeling so bad right now. I don't normally work on Sundays but today I had to come in for a special project. My boss bought everyone pizza, so I had 2 small slices :( . I have been feeling sick ever since. I suffer from IBS :mad: and it has been awhile since I felt like this. I decided to work out when I got home (even though today is my day off the exercise), to release some tension and stress. I drank lots of H2O, but stil feel a little pain on my stomach. I hope I feel better tomorrow morning. I have a feeling is going to be a long week for me.

Food today:
whole wheat bagel with egg and cheese, coffee
1 banana
Orange Juice
fruit bowl
2 slices of pizza & Orange Juice
over 100 oz of H2O

Exercise:
40 minutes on the treadmill, 40 min weights
