Weight-Loss Get back on track contest - final 3 weeks!!

Weight-Loss
Well I am pleased that we are no longer working in teams because I would have let my team down this week.

I have had a very busy and also stressful time this week - but I have managed to keep up with my normal food control and normal exercise levels (at least 11 miles walked each day plus my daily weight exercises).

The result is that I have got back down to my low weight which is really great.

I just didnt get the chance to do the sit-ups. I made a late night attempt one day - but went to bed after doing just 25.

It's great you got back to your low weight, Omega! And congrats on trying to get them in, even if it didn't work all the way.

Hey Omega... we all have weeks like that sometimes, no worries, even if you were still on my team! :grouphug:

FINAL BONUS CHALLENGE

Before I post the Bonus, there are going to be a few additions to the normal point system for the last week:

1. Exercise points will be doubled - complete 180 min. = 20 points
2. Weight loss - if you lose ANYTHING (even 0.1 lbs), you will earn 15 points.

And now for the BONUS!

Drinking water has been on of the most common challenges for this contest. It is something that is very important for all of us to do on a daily basis, and it fits in with any schedule. So.....

For every ounce of water you drink this week, you will earn 1 point! It's all up to you how much you drink - just make sure you KEEP TRACK.

When you post your final stats, be sure to post the exact number of ounces you drink!

Good luck - its ANYONE'S GAME!

Everyone is doing so well!
I may have a hard time this week as I'm finally moving back to Toronto!! I leave on Wednesday and I'm not sure if we have internet there yet so if it turns out I don't have internet there, I'll have my mom put my stats up for me! Still, I'm giving this week my all! Bring it on!

Awesome week for the challenges for me!

I have marching band from 8 am to 8 pm. So that means lots of exercise (we aren't marching all of it...some is playing music indoors... but I'll keep track of when we are outside) And marching equals having to keep hydrated or else you pass out. I bought a 50 oz waterbottle yesterday, so I'll keep track of how many times I fill that baby up!!!

I dont see myself getting too many points this week - as I leave the house in the middle of Tuesday night to fly to Greece. I am not sure whether I will have internet access there (depends on finding an internet cafe) and I do not have scales out there.

I will try to remember to update with my Tuesday weight - and exercise thus far. Also my water from Sunday. After that - it will all be up in the air.

Great challenge this week - could really turn the points around! Thanx for organising such a great contest :) It has been fun!

So today I have an hour and a half of marching band left (I am on break, whoo!) and so far exercise I'll guess down... so 1 hour. Water so far has been 116 oz. It's freaking hot outside.

It's been a good day as far as productivity goes, which is happy for me!

Edit:

Exercise for the day was an hour and a half. 90 minutes.

Water intake (so far) 160 oz.

On Sunday I did my normal 3 hours of exercise and had 3 litres of water. I will have to work out how many ounces that equates to. We do all our liquids in litres over here in England.

Magaret as far as I understand and calculate, 32 oz is a liter...at least that is what I go by.

32 oz of water is a liter

Thanks Cerella. I'll use that multiplyer. I keep forgetting conversion things like that.

I knew that my consumption requirement was borderline for being able to get away with just having 2 litres a day - after ages of having to have at least 2.5 litres. I retain water so badly that I often end up trying to have 3 litres.

I'm so glad you guys enjoyed the contest! I did as well! It seems like the time flew by so fast!

I do plan on doing another contest, but not right away. I need to work on prioritizing time for myself and getting it down to a habit before I try to do another one.

I know I have it in me, I just need to kick my willpower and determination back into gear!

Have a great day ladies - this is gonna be a fun last week! I can't wait to see who wins!
