From alpha testing to the QUERCUS 200

Yesterday was a success for food and I ran a bit more than minimum. I'm keeping the focus on each day and that will remain my focus. I've been weighing each day and it has gone down 3 days in a row. Any single weigh in can vary. Just focusing on today takes the emphasis off the scale and I need that.

Focusing on today sounds like a great idea but... how does it work? The concept doesn´t seem to register in my brain.
 
That's always been a challenge for me. It's really a counter to my negativity and defeatist attitude as much as an active focus. I will find myself thinking about about re-losing the same weight, not fitting into most of my clothes, how far I have to go, or feeling sorry for myself with all of my food and health issues. Now I can say who gives a shit, just focus on today. What can you do today? What will you do? I can handle today.

Yesterday I had a sweet treat, but was still a productive day. I ran 1.4 miles and ate well otherwise. Another benifit of focusing on each day is that there is no need for sweeping prohibitions.
 
Well then no wonder it feels so foreign. Sensible? That doesn't sound like me. I ran 1.8 miles tonight. I have done well with food today.
 
Hey Q, I think when we're struggling the most it is definitely helpful to focus on one day or even one meal at a time. The last few days seemed to have gone well. Here's hoping the next few do as well.

I had stomach problems last week, but I'm better now. I kept the runstreak going and I have run a half hour the past two days. I'm working to make today a success.

Stomach trouble here as well. Three weeks or so until the pollen load goes down and things will get easier.

So I was having problems with figs and didn't know it. The worse I felt the more figs I ate to correct the problem. Once I got that sorted I took a break on the figs and then yesterday I had a couple and immediately felt bad. Hopefully this will get me feeling better. I ran a half hour again yesterday and will today as well.

Oh fig puns! It's better to know for sure, but I wish I didn't have a fig tree. Maybe I can have them by the time they are ready here.

I ran my mile last night as my back hurt after a slip in the field. I feel better today. Food was crap yesterday.
 
Sorry you hurt your back but really glad it was just a temporary thing. Don´t eat crap, you might get infections.
