I didn´t make it to the labs today because I had to make some phone calls to doctors and for now the best course of action seems to be to have an IUD re-inserted while I wait for the fertility treatments. TBH I´m having a loss of faith when it comes to that as well. I just don´t think I can handle being on female hormones for that long. I´m still in queue and I´m not ready to give my place to someone else but... Yeah.
 
Back at 88 kg again so yeah, the female hormones really do effect my weight... Drastically so.
 
Weight has dropped 3kg in 24hrs: pre menstrual water retention is real. At the gym now.

So about the program, now that I´m home and fed! I finished 7 cycles of GVT and switched to a running-priority mesocycle. Because I don´t want to lose my gains, I´ll hit the gym twice a week and do four different movements on each session (A and B), 3x10 of each movement. One rest day per week, and cardio on four days per week, three of which are jogging/running and one is a swimming pool sesh.

It´s astonishing how much less fatigued I feel after doing a total of 120 reps as compared to the 200 reps I do while on GVT. Now I actually feel like I´ll have some juice left for running, which is nice.
 
Took care of errands and did so walking, so I´got 6km of walking done just from that. Today the running program says to do 10x100m spurts (?), I don´t have a running track close by so I´ll guesstimate the distance using Google Maps. I could up the ante a little I guess and use the little hill I used a few weeks back? Of course that´s much harder but hey, why not.

Bought veggies and a grilled chicken, which I cleaned and portioned. Now having a cup of coffee and resting for a bit before I need to get up and do stuff again.
 
Today was a good day of eating: high protein, tons of veggies. I skipped the run and went for a walk instead: just too wiped emotionally. Probably also adjusting to a decreased kcal intake but I should get used to it soon enough.
 
Prepped bakes potatoes, and heading to the gym soon. Breakfast was just a banana, but I´ll have beef and potatoes and cherry tomatoes for lunch
 
Had a banana for a snack. Appetite just isn´t that high now that I quit GVT which I guess makes me feel kinda good about my relationship with my body - I can trust my hunger and satiety. Heading to the gym after I´ve had my coffee.
 
Gym was good. Because I´m losing fat, I´m not even trying to use intense loads but instead am trying to offer my body new kinds of stimulus that will still give me progress and allow me to experiment a little bit and have fun. I did decline deadlifts with just the 20kg bar standing on a narrow step, this was challenging but I was impressed about my balance and it was fun. Definitely challenged my core! IN HINDSIGHT THOUGH I should not have done that inside the power cage because a) the bottom bars of the cage got in the way on the way down, I still got an incline but not as big as I would have gotten on the floor and b) if I had fallen forward, the horizontal bar in the power cage would have eaten my teeth. But hey, I´ll be wiser next time, and now that I know I have enough balance to control the movement, I feel confident doing it on the floor next time. I of course did think about safety, which is why I usually squat and DL in the power cage in the first place, but different exercise -> different circumstances -> different things that are the safest.

I also did bent over rows with 30 kg because I just like doing them, so didn´t feel the need to modify the exercise other than skipping the use of stoppers so I had to focus on coordination a bit more. I did delt raises in the cable machine instead of with dumbbells, and cable chest press instead of DB chest flys. Feeling happy. Heard some rice crispie sounds from my shoulder joints, but because there was no pain, it was probably just air bubbles, I´ve noticed this tends to pass after I have done some new exercise a couple of times. Maintained control and good form so there should be no worries about injury etc.

Got home, had some rice with marg and soy sauce. Gonna have a shower and then eat protein, which I´ve gotten way too little today.

I have dieted since... Uhhh Monday? Now that excess fluid is out, definition has already improved. Gotta stay mindful and not undereat though.
 
Had chicken for breakfast and then just forgot to eat pretty late into the evening and that triggered a migraine, albeit a milder one. I decided to not take NSAIDs or a migraine spray for it, because I need to spare those for hormonal migraines. Went grocery shopping and got myself a protein drink which I drank on my way home. At home I put rice to soak and boiled some eggs which are now marinating in the fridge. Had potatoes and chicken with parmesan and for dessert I had a home-made protein... Well, dessert. Turned out ok: I mixed 4 heaping spoonfuls of protein powder into 300g of yogurt and seasoned it with instant coffee, cacao nibs, cinnamon, and a splash of maple syrup. Turned out pretty good actually, and made for two portions. Would probably taste better with Greek yogurt instead of 3% skyr-style yogurt, but I´ll make this again.

Gonna have a cup of coffee, and then go out for a jog. I have zero motivation to go, but I know I´ll feel better after I get home and get to shower and sleep. Need to eat more veggies in the evening. Tomorrow I need to clean up and prep some beets, but for now I want to finish the stuff I already have made
 
Was starting to feel the effects of dieting last night: insomnia, and when I finally fell asleep I had really horrid nightmares. Going aqua jogging for 90 mins. Going to have one 200kcal protein drink before and one after to prevent crashing and binging afterwards. I´m gonna clean up the apartment and the chinchilla cages in the evening. I have yogurt, home-made protein dessert, rice, guac, marinated eggs, hummus and parmesan at home and can cook beets tonight with some chickpeas for protein. Not going to go grocery shopping after the aqua jogging, because I don´t want to buy something that I´d overeat on as water sports make me crazy hungry.
 
Cleaned up and had raw snack carrots as an apperizer, and potato + hummus and an egg for dinner and the rest of the protein dessert and some oat milk my friend left here a week ago for dessert.

Feeling satiated and happy. When I was doing my skincare I got a bit of a scare as I thought I spotted a varicose vein in my leg. But I think it's just a healthy vein that's getting more visible now that I'm losing fat because it doesn't have that bumpy look that varicose veins have.

I do have spider veins on my thighs but those aren't dangerous, just a bit unflattering, I think mine are from random bruises and bumping into things and I might just be prone to get them anyway because my collagen is a bit fragile
 
I had two marinated eggs and a banana at night because I struggled to fall asleep and it helped. Today I prepped more marinated eggs, this time I added smoked paprika to the marinade as well. Going to make borscht soup with tofu to go with them but I´ll do that after the gym because I need to run the dishwasher first.

My old pants are falling off so I took them in at the seams only to realize that I probably need them on days when I´m mega bloated form hormones so I took the stitches apart again lol.
 
Not enough carbs today so I got a migraine. Prepping vinegared lemon palm rice, gonna take an NSAID and run the dishwasher and head to the gym. I'll be careful working out but some movement could help

Nope, migraine was way too vicious.

Lemon balm, not palm haha. Made it into rice balls and had one portion with guac and hummus, absolutely delicious. I need to try this with protein I can add directly into the rice, bit like onigiri
 
Today´s been another good day of eating and prepping healthy food. Had a wicked migraine and took meds for it. Struggling to find gym motivation though. I will go but I´ll sit down for a bit more and watch Chimp Crazy and go have a late night gym sesh when it´s nice and quiet.
 
Gym was OK, not my feistiest workout but decent. Almost got Taco Bell afterwards but felt a bit silly thinking about the price versus health factor and went grocery shopping instead. Late night supermarkets are much more tolerable that daytime supermarkets for sure. Got a ton of veggies, fish, pork, cheese, and two ciabatta-style buns I made into pork and salad sandwiches and had them with tofu borscht at home.

Watching another episode of Chimp Crazy, the it's time to shower and sleep.
 
Gym yesterday was OK. Today I´ve been doing food prep, and will go out for a run after lunch.
