Meh, I guess it was ok in the end, but I was really hoping for 10 pounds gone. I also think it was kind of bad because I had two weeks in the middle of the month where I had big losses. But then I had a couple that weren't so big either. Goal for June: 10 pounds!

Probably would have been more..but this weekend cooked out to much and didn't get to work out(not making excuses). But I'm picking up a bike tomorrow so I can ride it at least once a day a couple days a week. I'm hoping for big numbers for June.
 
Hey guys, I would like to join if I can. Seeing as there are still 6 months left in the year I don't think I am too late :)

My starting weight (05/06/10) was 171.4; current weight (05/31/10) 162; Goal Weight by December 31- 130 pounds​

05/31/2010- 162 pounds, (-9.4 pounds for the month)


Thoughts of mine during this challenge:

05/31- So, I would like to lose at least 1.5 pounds a week during June. That would be a grand total of 7.5 pounds (16.9 pounds overall), but I think I can kick some fat in the butt and lose about 8.5-9 pounds for this month (June). I start weight training on Monday the 7th for summer school, I was clever enough to sign up for a class I had to do strength training in, or else my grade and my university GPA go down... muahahaa. I also do 65+ minutes of cardio daily, and burn about 1,000 calories each session. So, hopefully I make it! Overall, I go to Florida in July, go back to school in August, and turn 21 in December... so I have a few events I really want to lose weight for! Hope everyone's month goes well!

I'm pretty happy with this - a nice steady weight loss. Not as fast as it could be but then again, May has had some big events and going out so I've not been as monastic as I could be!! The running is definitely helping though :D I'm changing body shape as much as losing weight so a happy June bunny here @D

half way by year end

Hi

I started on April 6th at 390lbs, I know dear god, right. Anyway, I'm currently at 354lbs today June 21st. My goal is to be is to be at 285lbs, or half way to my ultimate goal of 180lbs, by the end of the year. Also, I found this wicked sweet calculator at that will tell you how much you will weigh on a given date if you put in all your stats and how many calories you eat each day. I've managed to find a lifestyle (diet and calorie intake level) that I enjoy and have not had an issue maintaining over the last few months. I think I have this weight issue nipped as long as I can maintain patience. Good luck to everyone out there with your own year end goals. I don't know about you but, I'm feeling pretty good about this up coming new year.

Love this challenge. I tend to get impatient, even when I'm losing a good amount each week. This way I can see that I'm actually on track (well, hopefully I will be) to be a skinny minnie by the end of the year!

I actually started losing a few weeks ago and was 205 (first time I've admitted that!). Now I'm about 194. Hoping to be at least 185 by July 31st, and 150 by the end of the year for a total weight loss of 55 pounds. Easy enough, right? Lol!
