Lol, sorry, but to eat protein you HAVE to eat calories. Caloires come from:
* Protein contains 4 calories per gram
* Carbohydrates contain 4 calories per gram
* Alcohol contains 7 calories per gram
* Fat contains 9 calories per gram
Some good high protein foods include chicken, fish, extra lean hamburger, cottage cheese, yogurt, milk, beans, tofu, soy milk, eggs, quinoa, and nuts.
Most foods will contain a mix of two or all three macro-nutrients.
Making your own healthy fruit shakes and adding some protein powder isn't the worst way to get your protein though, but maybe try making your own instead of going with the prepackaged kind.
What I meant to say is that I'd rather eat food to get my protein then from drinks! lol my bad. I'm probably gonna buy some powder next time I go food shopping. Does protein powder taste weird?
