What is a qualified solicitor? Are you a lawyer? That is interesting.
Yes, I'm a lawyer. I mainly work in property acting for commercial landlords/tenants and developers. It has been rather quiet with lockdown, but hopefully it will bounce back once things get back to normal. What do you do?
Oh my, I suck at posting every day. I set myself that goal last Monday and broke it by Saturday. Awks.
It started with bit of a wobble on Friday, as I was catching up with colleagues over Zoom while having a few drinks. I stupidly had my first drink on an empty stomach did not follow my own advice of drinking water with it, so I felt pretty drunk after 3 glasses of wine. When the call was over I decided to smoke in the garden by myself, had another glass of wine, and then had a little cry. I think it was prompted by the fact that, although I am a little shielded by the Furlough scheme, I can't quite shake off the dreads of having to find another job in the near future. Hopefully that is off my chest now.
Saturday was a write off. Felt hungover and did not even go for a walk. Maybe that'll teach me. (9 stone 7.5 lbs from dehydration)
Sunday - Monday was spent catching up with my boyfriend's family doing socially distanced BBQs and the like. It was the first time we have seen them in months, so was very nice to catch-up. (9 stone 10.5 lbs)
Yesterday was my first day trying to get back to it, but for some reason I was shattered and hungry all the time. I am setting myself a new rule to do my exercise first thing in the morning so excuses don't start to creep in! (9 stone 11.5lbs)
Today *finally* went well. (9 stone 10 lbs)
