Weight-Loss December Challenge

That's kind of weird,..... no one usually has a complete stand still of weight. Mine varies about 2 lbs in any given week. Are you sure someone didn't use a magic marker on your scale readout? :D


I am at a stand still far as losing any more weight! lol. If you will check the thread "weigh your self everyday club". My weight as went up and down since the first of December, but yes it is odd that I have managed to post 156.4 for the weekly post. I am hoping for a lost on Dec. 22. I have started to eat different foods and I also started changing my exercises. I found a VHF tape by Denise Austin that I had not open until last night. I plan to trade off: three days with Denise Austin "Get Fit Fast" legs and buns and three days with Leslie Sansone "Walk at home" five day slim down. So hopefully I will start losing again.

My DH could be standing behind me when I step on the scales, heee.

Just a bit of an update from me. I haven't lost, but I haven't gained either, so that's a plus:

1 December - 132.9kg (293lb)
8 December -
15 December - 132.9kg (293lb)
22 December -
29 December -

My goal is still to lose 3kg. We'll see how I go - still have two weeks!
 
really bad week this week, i`ll be glad to lose a pound. 4 bad days i`ve had this week but my football team won tonight and i`m not inkin to celebrate.

My monthly is due also so im not expecting a huge drop either, if at all

December 22 - 286.6 (-8.4) Okay, I was told that my weight last week was probably due to water retention, I was not feeling well, still not back 100%, but I was not drinking any water for couple of days, almost the whole week. My aunt who is a fitness fanatic told me that after I complained about how is it possible for me to gain all that weight so quickly after just 3 bad days. So taking that into consideration I think it would be more accurate to say weight loss is -2.8lbs for the week.

Goal at end - 284.2

Just -2.4lbs from my goal, but this weekend is going to be a tough one, its Christmas, and on the islands that means, food, food, more food, and more food, let's not forget the lobster and conch stuffing that goes with the turkey. Pray for me folks that I don't let the seafood stuffing go to my head. And everyone else, keep it up, don't get discouraged, I know it may be unrealistic to think we ALL will not end up with something on our plates this weekend that doesn't belong there, but be strong, eat and DRINK in moderation, remember, eggnog is full of calories, and MERRY CHRISTMAS to you all that celebrate the season. Til next week.

I reached my goal! Now I can afford to put on a pound or two over christmas ... merry christmas everyone!

I'm going to just try to maintain my weight over Christmas. I have always gained at least 10 lbs between Thanksgiving and New Years. So far I'm doing ok as I have lost a few lbs!

Add to end the thread, since everyone else is doing it that way.
I need a new battery for my scale, so I hope no one will mind if I jump in a bit late. I think a challenge is exactly the sort of thing that will help me.

Dec 9: 291.0 - keeping the momentum going!
Dec 12: 289.4 - YAY!!!! dropped below 290!!!
goal for the 15th: 288
Dec 15: 290.4 Well..... I'm happy with this. Slow and steady wins the race, right?
Dec 22: 287.4 -8 lbs so far. Not too bad.
Dec 31: 286.0 Okay.. I lost 9 lbs. not bad.
Goal: 280

Ok, I give up!

I'll take a break, no food diary or counting calories for the rest of this year. I'll just gonna have anything anytime I want it during these holidays! Of course with some moderation, though ;). My new plan for this month is not to be (much) over 90 kg at the end of the month. Then I'll jump start my weight loss journey next year.

D: Guys, no matter how bad things seem, don't give in! And even if you do, don't use it as an excuse to keep giving in...suck it up and keep working and moving forward because then you'll look back and say, "AUuUGHHH, what was I thinking!?" And it all could have been avoided. :D

Okay, reporting in a bit early as I have to go back to work tomorrow and I figure I cant loose or gain that much weight between going to bed tonight and waking up tomorrow morning. As you can see, I did not reach my goal, but I abandoned the diet for these last few days of Christmas, so I don't feel too bad, thank God Christmas only comes once a year,

So see you guys in the January and/or 3 month Challenge, congrats to those who accomplished their goals, and don't give up to those that didn't, HAPPY NEW YEAR..


p.s. does anyone know how to post those ticker factory weight thing at the bottom, I have gone to the site, but don't know how to post it. TIA..
