Fantastic! Wonderful day of exercise and eating! Well done!!!

Look at you -PRing on the squats! Yes! And your bench looks really nice too. Sounds like you had a great day. That cheers me up :)

Didn't get a chance to update yesterday. It was a really busy day. Worked late, then went to zumba, then my mom came into town so she can help me move some larger items that I don't necessarily want to leave to the movers, then we had dinner with my brother and his girlfriend, and then I went home and tried to make more progress packing. The next 10 days or so will be challenging, in terms of diet. My kitchen is all packed up at this point and I don't really have any food. I'll have to live the next week or so on take out, which I think I can do and still stay under my calorie goal. I'll just have to think about it a lot harder.

Breakfast: huevos rancheros wrap - 660 calories
Lunch: skipped
Dinner: enchiladas with Mexican rice, refried beans, and tortilla chips - 1253 calories
Total: 1913 calories

Exercise:
11,000 steps
1 hour dance fitness

Working late, moving and your workout schedule? Moving larger objects as well. My my. You go girl.

I admire you for realizing you can stick to your plans despite having to rely on fast food. Most of us would secretly be happy about the excuse to go off plan for a while.

Busy, busy, busy. I'm sure you can stick with the plan Cory & stay under calories as you're a smart cookie :)

Ok, last couple weeks have been rough. Just a quick summary: moving, sick, ate like an asshole the whole time.

But, I am now moved into my house and trying to get back on this wagon. Yesterday was my first day trying to come back and I managed to stay under 2,000 calories. I'll try to get updated with everyone else's diaries throughout the course of the day.

I'm sorry you had a hard time of it :( Still: assholes don't eat much, do they? Unless they belong to followers of The Gwyneth, in which case I think they get irrigated with coffee.
I hope you're feeling better now and are all settled in your new place. Any chance of horses nearby?

Hopefully being settled will provide a stable base from which you can refine a workable routine. It sounds like you have your education, work and home mostly sorted. It appears you enjoy exercise sessions with other people but have you tried bringing any of it close to home? Not needing to drive somewhere and having to wear clothing suitable for public exposure just makes it so much easier for me plus the advantage of being able to enjoy your own music or screen make it much more convenient or accessible. If you haven't yet done much working out at home, a bit of no equipment body weight exercise may be worth trying, and if that works, a bit of basic equipment. Do you have a safe place near home where you can walk? Settling in a new place is a great time to explore and learn about the neighborhood and general area.

Lama: There are definitely horses nearby. I'm thinking I'll try to find a place to ride once it warms up just a little bit. There is also Appalachian Trail access within 10 minutes, so I can start hiking again too.

Hale: I'm getting there. I'm still trying to unpack and get some loose ends sorted. I would consider doing more stuff at home except for that there are some pretty compelling reasons to keep doing what I'm doing. In terms of the dance classes, I love them and that's where I've met a lot of my friends in this area. Plus, I haven't found anything that helps me control my anxiety quite like them. I would consider trying to get equipment to move my weight lifting to my house, but for my goals related to Strongman and Highland Games I need a good squat rack and power bar. Once you add in the associated minimal equipment (bands, dumbbells, bench, etc), the expense to set something like that up is approaching over $1,000. And I have no where to put any of that stuff. My house is too small to accommodate it and I don't have anywhere sheltered and level outside either. I want to have that at my house one day, but I need to deal with some maintenance issues at the house first and have a space built to actually house it. I would also consider moving to a closer gym, but part of the reason I go to the gym I go to right now is because the wait time for equipment is minimal. I'm willing to drive an extra 20 minutes if it means I'm not waiting 45 minutes for the squat rack and also have access to better equipment more tailored to my goals. I love to walk and the neighborhood I've moved to is very safe. Just haven't done it lately because I've been sick and it's been very cold.

Omg its been so long since i fed the mexican bug....looks really good

Things got ROUGH. Fever spiked to 104 and I considered going to the emergency room. Doing better today, but still feeling like run over dog shit.

You should have some one stay in with you for a bit. If it goes up you may not be able to get any help. Get some rest and keep up your fluids. There are easier ways to lose weight. Hang in there.

I liiiiivvveeee!!!!!

Well, I have a little lingering congestion (that I'll go to the doctor for if it doesn't clear up in a couple days), but my fever has broken and I'm not coughing near as much. Trying to decide when I'll go back to the gym now. Probably not today, but I might try tomorrow and take it easy.

Give it a couple more days before you hit the gym again please. Let your body heal up a bit. Glad to hear you´re chomping at the bit to get back at it though!
