And, unrelated, I am honestly enjoying this velocity diet. It really is just keto without all the nastiness and impreciseness. I feel fantastic. And I'm still getting stronger. :D

Thoughts

So, yeah. I just realized I'm meant to be doing a warm-up set on my DB Bench and threw it in at the end. Missed my MPs, so I did that instead of lat raises. I forgot I was only doing 12 initially, and corrected it later. I've definitely gotten stronger on those since that first workout back. It's official that I can shrug more weight than I can hold onto - I can barely hold 75 lb dumbbells, but I can shrug them with little effort?? Haha. I feel like I'm doing it wrong, but I'm not. I checked and checked and checked. Anyway, I'll keep shrugging that until my grip gets stronger. The BB curls make me a little sad. I mean, they're serving their purpose, but the whole using them as a finisher thing is kind of bad for the pea**** inside me, as I'm convinced they're actually slowly getting worse as I learn to do all the other bicep-involved exercises better. Didn't do the last set on the wrist roller 'cause 12.5 friggen destroyed my forearms. They were like rocks. I <3 that exercise, right after the grip-intensive shrugs. Sorry about the blob of text, and wazzaaaa.

Not because I mind the taste, I've pretty much perfected the shake recipes, they're delicious - but I'm hungry and tired, and not even the thought-by-me-to-be-all-powerful anhydrous caffeine can save me from my fate. Only 24 days and 135 shakes to go. Wooh, wooh.

Thoughts

Another fun workout. Finally got you that 205 I owed you, there, Chillen. Could've done another if I hadn't got ****y and sloppy. Lunges I kept where they were as promised, cleaned out the form. They were continuous and smooth. Hyperextensions I got a little crazy, and I also realized I'm probably doing more than 45. Better check that out next time. Threw in that extra set on the ab work and rocked it. Booyaka. Oh, and I forgot to mention that I randomly did a max set of bar squats at the end, there. Apparently I can squat 45 lbs 40 times in one minute.

Story time: My sister was over and wanted to come play, so I had her do this workout with me. 3 different trainers complimented my squat form and 3 (other) different people (women, all) called me a slavedriver for how hard I was making her work haha. My reply to all of the above was, "Thank you! :D"

I am gaining weight and getting stronger fast on the V Diet. Um, what? Why must I be such a mutant. XD

Seriously, wow. This has been a long day. Max lower, 3 hours of laser tag, two hours of salsa dancing and then epic adventures on the way home. I was totally some random chick's knight in shining armor, and I don't think she even has a clue how lucky she was I happened to be walking by as her douche of a boyfriend/date/whatever decided to try to pummel(/murder?) her. She was really quite hilariously unappreciative, and extremely demanding. Also the whole asking me to take her home thing and my not raping and/or killing her. She was probably blackout drunk too, so I'm guessing she'll wake up tomorrow and wonder why she took 150'ish pictures of some random dude wearing her hat (she kept dropping it and then lunging for it and almost-falling) and holding her hand. I didn't even ask her what her name was.

Anyway, need sleep. 5 days down, and only 120'ish shakes to go. Yeah boi. Also, I think it was pretty sweet that I one-shotted a dude who was way bigger than me, but I totally sucker punched him, so. :D

You have no idea how good a bellyful (2 slices, don't judge) of Il Guante pizza from Vogglio's (the best pizza in Calgary, and possibly even Canada, hands-down, I will fight you) is after a week of protein shakes. I can't wait until next week, when I will do it again. Bwahahahaha.

Yup yup.

Pretty sure I'm gonna hit at least 200% completion of my 100 hours of (extra) NEPA goal for the summer.

Also, despite my frequent complaining, I seem to be solidly in the 180s. I've noticed a pattern: every time I play lasertag I lose 1 lb. So, at ~$35/4 hours, if I play 100 hours of lasertag (currently at about 20 I think haha), I will have spent $875 and lost 25 lbs. I wonder how that compares to say, Jenny Craig. :D

Tomorrow will be Day 7 of 28 for the V Diet. So far I've been perfect with regard to my adherence, and lost 2.8 lbs. This puts me at roughly 23% body fat currently, assuming an almost negligible loss of lean tissue. Assuming, once again, no water weight fluctuation (which I seem to be immune to?) that'll mean 13.1 lbs for 28 days. So hopefully I'll be at 178.3 lbs and 18.5% body fat on the 27th of July.

The point of all this being that I suppose my "remove 10 points from my body fat percentage" goal for the summer seems doable. Not really sure what I'll do in August... I guess the break-out for this diet and then... Velocity Again? :SaiyanSmilie_anim: Depends on the results. I'll do this all winter too if I have to. Grawrar. But the sooner I can bulk the more fun I'll be having. :)

SO! I tried fallout, but that game doesn't run on XP I guess...

THEN! I tried Neverwinter NIghts, which I have owned for like 6 years but never tried, and it seems absolutely fantastic!

Nah, see, from the place I play lasertag at, it's actually quicker to get home if I take the train, so I do that. Plus during the stampede it's fun because you run into all sorts of interesting (drunken) characters. I live about 8 or 9 blocks from the train station, past a bunch of clubs and a skate park and such, so something usually goes down on the walk back to my apartment. So, yeah, I guess you could say I was looking for adventure. :p

Anyway, it wasn't much of anything. She was really quite irritating, and very drunk, and kept arguing with me, and wouldn't tell me where she lived so I could get her home. She kept claiming I was trying to get her alone so I could rape and/or kill her. And I kept saying, "You wish." Haha.

How I ended up with her was I was walking up the street to my apartment, and across the road this dude was screaming at some chick, threatening her and sounding really angry. And I have this thing about that, if I see a guy hit a girl I have a full-on rage blackout. It's pretty scary and crazy (I'm quite sane otherwise, I assure you, lol). So I slowed down and crossed the street and followed them for a bit, and when he eventually decided to try it, my fist was two feet away from his jaw. He went down like Paris in a Grammy Awards bathroom. But then she turns to me lookin' all sad and confused and tells me she wants to go home, and needs help.

And there went two hours of my life I could have used to drink disgusting shakes and do math. :p

Ty sir. I expect my coefficient to be over 2 by the end of the year. This will probably mean a 350 lb squat at 175 lbs? Being a true beginner is fun. :D I seriously cannot waaaaait to bulk. Before I spent 10 years being a huge fatty, I was a natural mesomorph - an extremely gifted athlete, and shredded. I suspect the moment I start eating at a surplus I will be getting all kinds of accusations of being on 'roids haha. :)

I shipped my girlfriend off to Quebec for an exchange program so I can get some quality time in with DDR and lasertag, hahahahaha. But uhm, not much, other than that.

Fallout 1 does too run on XP. Just gotta .

NWN is okay. I grew up on BG, TOTSC, BGII:SoA, ToB and PS:T though, so while NWN had a lot of interesting new stuff, what made those games magical (the story-driven gameplay) is completely missing. It's more of a run-around-and-beat-em-up-dungeon-crawl, if that's your style.

Right now I'm pondering playing Command and Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath. All this lasertag has put me in the mood. (Because I've been listening to command and conquer and warcraft II music while pwning 8 year olds XD. )

DDR Max Extreme 2 I think. The arcade machine. I has spent many loonies (that's Canadian for one dollar coins. Yes, we have those. Fear our backwardness, for it is great indeed).

Not really sure what happened today. Felt like I lost a little strength. Which would be understandable given the whole simulated starvation thing but I was mostly fine until the 65x25 bench I randomly threw in. That wrecked me for everything else. I liked it because I really felt it everywhere I was supposed to. But afterward my forearms and biceps were too trashed to handle the rest. I dunnoes. Still had lots of fun, though.

It appears the V Diet is working. A lot. I may break into the 170s before the week is through. o_O But I'm feeling quite a lot like a flat tire.

It now seems highly probable that I am in fact insulin sensitive - the confirmation of which was and continues to be the main point of this "experiment" (see: torture session). Other than rapid results I mean. Keto was too sloppy to make an accurate assessment.

My friend (who's a psychiatrist) insists that I have an unhealthy obsession, but I'm sayin', "I like this deal; I'll take results for pain every day of the week." ****, I wish there was some way to make it even more difficult. But I honestly don't think there is. Suggestions, anyone? :SaiyanSmilie_anim:
