Uh huh. :D

I felt the pain of squatting for the first time. I thought I had before, but no. Not until that last rep that took me nearly 12 seconds to grind out. I fell over and hit myself with the weight when I tried to put it down. XD
 
I bought some straps when I was home on vacation, to use for my snatches, but I think I left them at home when I went back to school :(

That's too bad. They're only about $10-$20 here, depending on whether you want just the cotton strap or some padding, or leather, or whatevers. I ordered mine only yesterday and they arrived today. Did I mention I <3 online shopping? Such a time-saver.

Oh dear, over 50% of the value of my company got wiped out in an hour this morning. Overall our shares have gone from 270p last year to 25p today!

Shame we're only on the first floor or jumping would be an option ;)

We just posted a small loss for the first time in years, our CEO stood down a while back and George Bush's response to the collapse of the sub-prime mortgage market in the US has been laughable

The saying here is 'When the US sneezes the UK catches a cold'. Unfortunately our fortunes are linked to the US and the US is in free fall towards recession right now and the UK banks are closing their wallets and bracing themselves

You may have a point there, although I actually bring in far more in revenue than I get paid.

Poor management has had a large part to play in making the loss but the massive slump in share price has far more to do with stock market uncertainty
 
I'm too cool to use numbers, I get newbs to count for me :D
