No contest. Key word: "might". Not good enough. :D

I might have to make a choice soon between a job I hate that pays quite well and a job I might like that pays nothing

You mean it pays $0. Or less then what you're making now?

Someone once said, "Do something you love and you'll never work a day in your life."

I absolutely believe that. Money means nothing and only provides temporary happiness. Once you realize money is unimportant, you'll soon find joy. My wife gets upset when I talk like that. However I dont worrry about money, how much I have or anything. Ive got better things to focus my energy on.

Well, not literally nothing but i'll probably be offered about $40k as a starting basic wage and I currently earn about $60k. Things like property are far more expensive over here which means I have absolutely nothing left over at the end of every month as it is (actually spent about $1k above my earnings this month without buying anything for myself) so the pressure to make good commission would be huge

I might be able to do it if I get evening work as a nightclub bouncer :)

But money is almost everything to me. Even tho i dont have the money id love it. All the things i could do and have.

One thing I noticed about life.

Once you stop caring about money, you can focus on what is important and doing the right thing.

For some reason. Money just comes along with the package.

I have no wealthy friends who love money. (most you wouldn't know had any money) They love what they do, their family, and enjoy their life. This makes them good at what they do and money comes.

Life is kind of funny that way. :D

I love to sit on my ass and do nothing, send me money!

Hey.. I live in Norway.. if I do sit on my arse and do nothing, the government will send me money. You're a genious, G! Thanks for the advice! :D

They do that here too, although they are putting a stop to it which i think it the right thing.

Its not fair people getting paid for not working.

specially if they are not working because they don't want to. disability is a different story. it would suck to get a brick in your head while working one day and the next day being without income because you got injured at work. Or getting hit by a car, etc..

yea, it was a 5. something on the richter scale lol.

I sh!t myself, it felt like elephants were charging into my house. I dont think it got down to sh!tty London, it was mainly north and the midlands. Its on the news n that.

Anyone going to the Arnold Classic in Columbus, OH this weekend? I will be there with the Sorinex crew.

We are having a challenge with our Circus Dumbbell. Below is the press release.

The Circus Dumbbell Challenge

A powerful grip has always been the hallmark of a strong man, and the 2008 Arnold Sports Festival will feature an open challenge to anyone who comes to the Expo Center on Friday. The challenge will be to do a one-hand deadlift with the 202 pound Circus Dumbbell that is used in the Arnold Strongman Classic, which begins at 3:00 on the big Expo Stage. To qualify for a chance to come on stage at about 4:30 on Friday, try to deadlift the Circus Dumbbell, and win $500, applicants need to go to the GNC Booth at some point earlier in the day and prove that they have a superior grip. Anyone qualifying will be allowed to have a go at the huge dumbbell, which has a grip that is 3" in diameter--one of the reasons that so few people can even lift it off the floor.

FFS, how heavy is that DB! Gotta be around 250lbs or something.
